A good option for Popayán

A confortable hotel for the price with very kind and formal service. The breakfast is especially nice. I saw complaints about the breakfast in reviews and have no idea what people are talking about. The property is a bit sleepy but lots of events are held here on weekend nights. I enjoyed listening to the live music in the evenings. The gym is basically some ancient equipment thrown into a spare room - but again … it’s an older, traditional hotel, not a modern business hotel. Rooms are big and cozy with windows facing the courtyard. Wonderful place to stay!

Great hotel! After more than a week of staying in some random and small places, it felt like luxury to find a clean hotel with wifi (everywhere!) and hot water in the shower! It was very clean and the customer service was impeccable. I think I was nearly the only tourist there, but everyone attended to me and helped me. I am especially grateful to Nathalie who was working in the kitchen. I walked down and gave her my dinner order, and she went above and beyond to make it special and deliver it to me. She was so kind and sweet...totally made my stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Beautiful Building, Great Service

We stayed in September in this lovely Hotel, that deserves a five star review for the service provided. The building is located a few footsteps away from the beautiful and walkable center of Popayan in a monastery building, giving it a charming and special atmosphere. After leaving, we realized that we unfortunately forgot a shawl at breakfast. Eventually, the hotel managed to pack the shawl and send it with Servientrega per pay on delivery to another hotel in Medellin where we stayed some time later. Thanks again for making this happen. It meant a lot for us. By the way in case you want to visit the hotel, but struggle to find the entrance to the parking lot as we did…, it’s behind the building, accessible via Calle 2 and Carrera 10. Atmospheric hotel

The architecture of this hotel is amazing. It was a monastery and is now a 5* hotel. The rooms are comfortable. However, the hotel lacks an elevator, so all baggage has to be transferred on upper floor by stairs. Breakfast was nice but dinner wasn't good. And the service was extremely slow. The hotel is in the center of Popayan, 5 minutes walk from the central square, so I highly recommend it.
