Horror hotel. The restaurant makes me sick, food is absolutely disgusting, no taste, mainly stewed, chewy meats. I asked for salt and they said they don't have it. There's a constant smell of chlorine and sewage in the restaurant. There's a cantine atmosphere, no music, everybody just slamming chairs and cutlery. Makes you want to go away ASAP. Many hotel guests are very uncivilised and the staff doesn't say anything (this morning a waman was sitting with her child puking right at the entrance of the restaurant for more than half an hour, this is how breakfast guest were "greeted"). Check in took forever, they don't give you any information, you have to ask for everything. To go to the beach club of the other Sol Caribe, you have to organize and pay the transport yourself, there is no shuttle bus.

I was in hotel sol caribe centro, I only went this year , I went January 2023. I could visit different restaurants, I could enjoy the pool and you can eat snacks and I could drink liquor.I really liked it becouse there was a large pool with a bar, there were different restaurants Mexican food, Italian food and the people were very friendly.

Great accomodation and exellent entertainment staff

We had an excellent time here in Sol Caribe Centro, the accommodation was good, a big space for us 2, and the resting was on par for all the walking and activities we did around the day. We traveled various days to Solcaribe Playa, to take the sun and to do a couple of tours/site seeing activities. We had to take the bus (public transport) to get to various places around the island, but we had no trouble asking for any direction, and really don't mind taking the bus to get somewhere, so it was Ok for us. In the morning before leaving to other places, or in the night, the entertainment staff were doing activities, in the morning some dancing/exercising and in the night some entertaining shows, We had a god laugh on all the activities, the staff was really friendly and good sports, if you are available to participate, do so and meet some great people from the staff (Nichy, Nicolet, Jean Clovis, and Rosenberg) and on all the following days you will keep laughing and having a great time.

Everything about my trip here was disappointing. The people are extremely rude, seems like they are over all the tourists. A little beyond rude to the point it seems they hate anyone not from here. The food was disgusting everywhere, we got scammed on our room, on accomodations, activities. They are always seeing that you are white and charging triple or quadruple the stated price. Their covid procedure is a joke, sucks the fun out of everything. I was very polite with people, smiling and saying please and thank you and would just get cold stares in return. Do not recommend coming here. If you do come here it's not worth staying more than a day to do the main tour. Don't bother with the Airbnb's as they will just scam you.

My favorite hotel in San Andrés

I was with my family one year ago in San Andrés Islas at the hotel Sol Caribe.This hotel is big. There is a swimming pool, there are two restaurants but the restaurant is near to the swimming pool is the biggest, there is a gym, there are a lot of bedrooms so comfortable, there is a bar, there is a disco, there is a reception.This hotel has a very good offer in its courses, you can eat what you want: seafood, pasta, meat, chicken, sausages.The service is very good, the workers are attentive and the prices of the hotel are good because it isn't as expensive as others hotels in San Andrés.In adittion, Sol Caribe offers activities you can do in the same city, you can go to Johnny Cay, Casa museo isleña, el acuario, Hoyo Soplador, la Cueva de Morgan, between onother places.I liked visiting these places because I could learn about history and enjoy beautiful and amazing places.When we can travel often prefer San Andrés because its sea is really beautiful, besides, it has a comfortable beach and people are very helpful.I always choose to come back because I love the sea, its colors, people, the food. Besides, I can find products with a good price that maybe I cant find in Medellín or in Medellín the products are more expensive.
