Excellent Value Stay Near the Main Street

Lovely hotel located just steps away from the main street with many restaurants and shops. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, with a strong hot shower, super well-functioning AC that keeps the room pleasantly cool, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. There are also several convenient parking spots, and breakfast is included, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a great deal for the price and a very comfortable place to stay.The only small downside: it would be nice if they invested in better toilet paper; the current one feels very “gas station.” Otherwise, a great stay.

Great stay at Hotel Arenal Raber

Our stay was perfect at Hotel Arenal Rabfer. This hotel has a wonderful breakfast, a super clean pool and rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a water bottle dispenser to fill your bottle and a fridge in the room. It's on a quiet side street with restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. A bank with ATM is 1/2 block away.

Customer service and communication with hotel was excellent.

My review of the hotel is purely from the customer service, and communication I had regarding a planned 4 night stay at the end of January. Booking through booking.com went well. Reviews of the hotel were very good. After the booking, communication from the hotel was great. Sadly our trip to La Fortuna, and our hotel stay was cancelled due to being stuck in Chicago for 5 days, a result of severe weather affecting American Airlines, and staffing. I did let the hotel know we would not be making the trip. They were quite sympathetic, and were quick to accommodate us with this unique cancellation. I do not recall those that I communicated with via email, but was told management was involved, and we were very well taken care of in this situation. I was very impressed by all of the interactions we had with the hotel. We hope to make up for this missed trip in the future, and I will certainly be looking to book our stay with the Arenal Rabfer hotel.

We found the staff to be really helpful and friendly. The location was extremely central and close to amenities. Fabulous breakfast too! Lovely spacious room!

Beautiful small hotel with a great location in La Fortuna

We stayed at Rabfer for two nights in conjunction with a G Adventures tour. Great location just a few blocks from the main La Fortuna town square. Rooms were clean and large, ours was right off the pool. The pool was beautiful and pristine. Nice common room upstairs. Filtered water available in the lobby.
