Location

This hotel lies amidst wonderful scenery and enjoys a picturesque location just 1 km from Arenal volcano. The nearest town of La Fortuna is a 5-minute drive away and the Tabasco thermal springs are a 7-minute drive away. Arenal lake is 10 km from the complex.

Facility

20 single rooms and 20 double rooms are available to guests. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden.     Amazing property. The views of the Arenal Volcano are truly spectacular. The service and attention to detail by the staff was outstanding. We loved every minute we spent at the Springs. You almost feel like you’re in a luxurious theme park full of nature, hot springs, amazing restaurants, and the best pool bar you can ever relax at for a drink. I want to give a huge shout out to Randal and Jaxiri at the pool bar. They made me and my wife’s experience so much better. This is a wonderful family experience and can also be great for couples. Highly recommend the springs if your in La fortuna and want to experience the best resort you may have ever been to.

    If you're considering Arenal Springs Resort & Spa, stop looking and book it.From the moment we arrived, the staff exceeded every expectation. Whether we were dining in the restaurants, asking questions about excursions, or simply trying to figure out the best way to get to and from the hot springs during a pouring rainstorm, every employee we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Their level of hospitality was remarkable. I only wish we experienced this kind of service more often in the United States.The food was exceptional. Breakfast each morning felt like a dream, with made-to-order eggs and omelets, fresh smoothies, excellent coffee, and delicious fresh juices. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day.The rooms were equally impressive. The resort is laid out almost like a beautiful golf course community, with charming streets lined with private bungalows that offer both comfort and privacy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated after a day of exploring. The bathroom amenities were thoughtfully stocked, including those little extras that save the day if you forgot something at home, from toiletries to personal care items.And then there was the laundry service. Honestly, WOW. I still have clothes that were washed there, and I have no idea what they use, but they smell absolutely incredible. Everything came back perfectly cleaned, neatly folded, and packaged in paper bags. I almost didn't want to take the clothes out because they looked and smelled so good!Overall, Arenal Springs Resort & Spa delivered one of the best resort experiences we've ever had. After our stay, we continued on to the Riu Palace in Guanacaste, and within a day we found ourselves wishing we had never left Arenal. If we had more than three days remaining in our trip, we would have gladly made the five-plus-hour drive back just to spend more time here.Arenal Springs wasn't just a hotel stay, it was a highlight of our entire Costa Rica vacation. We cannot wait to return.     Fantastic Resort

    An absolutely stunning location. Pools are fantastic (hot and cold). The bungalows are very nice and surrounded by intimate gardens. Bird watching galore! Food at restaurant and pool bar is great but expensive. No other food close by. Pick up some alcohol at the airport. View of volcano depends on the weather. Important note: the drive from Liberia airport is brutal; windy road for 3 hours! Don’t recommend doing it in the dark 🤢 Tours through Maquiqui fantastic (waterfalls and rafting).     Our family loved our trip to Arenal Springs. The property was beautiful, the rooms were well appointed, and the staff delivered world class service. We really enjoyed the cuisine as well.     Bugs and overpriced drinks

    The hot springs are nice, and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and the service is friendly. However, they have no problem charging $15+ for a drink that has barely any alcohol in it. Beware anything from the bar is a waste of money. Also, there were bugs in our room. It's the jungle, some bugs are to be expected, but waking up on a bed COVERED in ants is not a fun feeling.
