Location

This hotel offers majestic views of the Arenal Volcano, 1633 m above sea level, and spitting out a stream of rocks, fire, and lava. It is here that the natural beauty of the rain forest, with its great variety of exotic animals, birds of extreme splendour, and the tremendous power of one of the most active volcanoes on Earth meet. The hotel is about 2.5 hours from the capital San José by car.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 118 rooms and 2 suites. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Such an amazing trip when we stayed here

    My boyfriend and I had the best time here! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is gorgeous and we woke up everyday with an unforgettable view. We did the horseback tour with them and it was such an experience. We also went to the spa and we felt so relaxed. 4.5/5 stars

    This resort is in a great location (albeit far from the town of La Fortuna), with marvelous views of the Arenal volcano. Rooms are separate bungalows, not large, but with plenty of room. There was safe in the room, so no need to schlep around with valuables. There are many species of animals in the area and on the grounds, especially birds. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of food and a large variety.

    A Location With Stunning Views

    This resort is in a stunning location, with incredible views of Arenal volcano and lots of wildlife in the area and on the grounds. It is a little way out of La Fortuna, so convenience isn’t the greatest, but it’s easy to get to town by cabThe rooms are individual huts, which offers great privacy. While relatively comfortable, they are quite small and we found climate control challenging.The staff are friendly for the most part. However, the restaurant and bar staff occasionally weren’t very helpful when we had issues.For example, I ordered the Fettuccine à la Marinera (seafood fettuccine). The server brought me a set of crackers, but there was nothing in the dish that had a shell on it. When I asked him what the crackers were for, he just gave me a blank look. Side note: that dish had way too much pomodoro sauce and not enough fettuccine.

    The property and the view are beautiful. The food is pretty good. The facility hosts multiple tour groups and is well equipped to support them. The rooms (small individual buildings) are old and are aging. They are certainly functional. Service was good. The pool is nice.
