This holiday resort is set out in the style of a village and surrounded by 300 hectares of lush, tropical rainforest, the finest of white beaches and the deep-blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. The fabulous rainforest features much natural beauty and is home to a diversity of wildlife including monkeys, sloths, reptiles and over 300 species of bird as well as lush plant life that may be explored up close. Guests may enjoy some of the best beaches in Costa Rica whilst having ever wish catered for. The nearest beach is a mere 300 m away and the capital city of San Jose may be reached by car in about 1 hour 30 minutes.

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 27 apartments and 108 single rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     This was probably very nice 20 years ago. Now the rooms are old and in need of repairs. The shower was cold, power was out for several hours, various bugs and spiders were in the room and shower. The buffet food was decent and the staff there were good. The pool, beach, bar and related common areas were borderline acceptable. The property is very spread out, requiring either a long walk or wait for a shuttle bus which run around every 30 minutes.     We had a decent experience for a 3 star resort. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly and responsive. It definitely was more of a resort for local families and we were the only tourists there so not all staff spoke English. It was convenient to have a store and ice cream stand on site, and all extra activities were additional fees. The road to the actual resort is very bumpy and a ten minute drive, making coming/going a bit of a hassle. The private beach was okay for calling off, but neighboring beaches are much cleaner and more picteresque. Overall a good experience for a 3-star resort.     Amazing trip with the family for spring break. The beach and pool was perfect for kids. They even had a complimentary guided nature walk for kids where we saw sloths, scarlet macaws, and toucans!
