Beautiful place, clean, but the apartments definitely need some updates.

This was probably very nice 20 years ago. Now the rooms are old and in need of repairs. The shower was cold, power was out for several hours, various bugs and spiders were in the room and shower. The buffet food was decent and the staff there were good. The pool, beach, bar and related common areas were borderline acceptable. The property is very spread out, requiring either a long walk or wait for a shuttle bus which run around every 30 minutes.

Decent experience for a family

We had a decent experience for a 3 star resort. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly and responsive. It definitely was more of a resort for local families and we were the only tourists there so not all staff spoke English. It was convenient to have a store and ice cream stand on site, and all extra activities were additional fees. The road to the actual resort is very bumpy and a ten minute drive, making coming/going a bit of a hassle. The private beach was okay for calling off, but neighboring beaches are much cleaner and more picteresque. Overall a good experience for a 3-star resort.

Amazing guided nature walk and beach

Amazing trip with the family for spring break. The beach and pool was perfect for kids. They even had a complimentary guided nature walk for kids where we saw sloths, scarlet macaws, and toucans! Definately recommend!
