  Look no further for a hotel. This is a stunning boutique hotel. Adults only. Perfect for a relaxing trip with my husband. Breakfast and dinner included nightly in the price of your room. Which made it convenient for us. The food was excellent. The staff is superb. Richard, our bartender/server was incredible. The entire staff was incredible and very attentive. Longevity of their staff proves how much they love to work there. And is shown by how great they treat all customers. The best place in Costa Rica. We will be back. ❤️

  This hotel lives up to its name

  We'll definitely be back. The decor and some amenities are dated, to be sure. The TV didn't get many channels, the AC was a bit noisy, the cornflakes were a bit stale, and the minibar was expensive (like every other hotel). So what? Overall the place was clean, cozy, inviting. And the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. I feel bad that I didn't get the gentleman's name, but the older of the two gentlemen who worked the desk during our stay went WAY above and beyond when my wife experienced a minor medical emergency and helped me coordinate care with a local clinic where she received excellent care. The tours were great, the food was phenomenal, the pools were clean, even the visiting wildlife mostly stayed out of the way. The sunset view from our room was beautiful and the location (2 minutes from the beach) was perfect.

  Magical vacation in a beautiful hotel

  We absolutely loved our stay at jardin del eden! Before our trip, all my questions via email were answered promptly and politely! We considered el capitan suizo because I wanted to see as many monkeys as possible, but i'm do glad we chose jardin del eden instead. We had dinner at el capitan suizo. It was nice, but they grounds, pool, and food were nowhere near jardin del eden! The grounds at jardin del eden are stunningly beautiful!! Lush, beautiful plants and flowers are everywhere!! We requested a room away from all the activity and wanted more quiet and more plants for our anniversary. We thought this would give us a better opportunity to see wildlife also. They granted our request and loved our room! We had a day bed and jacuzzi tub on our balcony surrounded by lush, green plants to offer beauty and privacy! I was thrilled we saw about 30 howler monkeys during our stay!! They like the mango trees and they were usually in the tree on the pathway to the beach. I found the costa rican food in general too be a bit bland, but the food at this hotel was delicious! The gourmet dinner meals were tasty as well as beautifully presented! The service was quick and efficient! We loved the fresh flowers on all the tables and live the drama of birds of paradise!! Dinner was fancy and so nice but at the same time, not too stuffy or formal. I though not being directly on the beach would bother me, but I loved walking through the gates and the pathway was covered in beautiful plants. It felt like the entrance to a secret garden! The beach area had another pool, chairs , and umbrellas and a bar. It was never crowded and we always got to choose our favorite spot! The drinks were delicious and we loved the personal, friendly, and kind staff. One of the guys helped my husband find coconut water that he had been trying to find. We spontaneously rode horses on the beach, and they kept my purse behind the bar and put our drinks in the refrigerator until we returned! They would never do that in usa! We requested music frequently and they would play music liked! When we arrived, we had a happy anniversary note and a fruit plate with complimentary champagne, such a thoughtful gesture that we rely appreciated. We were given cool refreshing towels infused with mint on our arrival after a long drive, and we received duch a nice welcome! The grounds were so beautiful and immaculate! The monkeys throw down half eaten mangos, but we barely had time to notice because they were disposed of so quickly. The landscape lighting at night was tasteful and beautiful!! My husband didn't think this place would be as beautiful as the photos, but it absolutely is!!!! My mother is a master gardener and I love gardening, too, and they work constantly to keep the grounds immaculate!! It's not a stiff, formal garden, but a lush, tropical paradise spilling over with beautiful plants and flowers! I don't think we will ever find a more beautiful, comfortable hotel that is so warm, friendly, and personable. Thank you? Jardin del Eden, for making our vacation magical!!❤️

  Good boutique hotel that is close to the beach (5min walk) and restaurants and shops. Great location. Good room sizes and staff was very good.
