  This hostel works well if you’re just planning to stay for one night and need a place to sleep. It serves its purpose, but the rooms lack privacy, while the beds have curtains, the dorms themselves are open.The bathrooms weren’t always clean, and during my stay there was no paper available to dry hands.On the positive side, the kitchen is practical and well-equipped with the basics, and there’s also a small dining area. The hostel itself is quite small and not social at all.The staff were consistently kind and helpful. At one point, my phone charger stopped working, and the reception team kindly lent me one, which I really appreciated.

  Small but cozy hostel. It is in a quiet neighborhood. It is a 10 minute drive to the central part of San Jose. You'll be submerge in the culture, a lot of restaurants, museums, parks, and mercado artesanal. The reason I liked the hostel is because it's quiet at night. I stayed in a double bed room, which was very spacious. Just note that it does not have air condition, I went the first week of September so it wasn't hot at night.

  A hostel that feels like your family house

  A hostel and staff that feel like family; there is always someone at the front desk so you can check in in the middle of the night if your flight has been canceled (true story). Mercedes, Melissa and Levi were so friendly and helpful. 🙏 I had the green room and it was perfect. The garden, the kitchen and the lounge are so inviting and look beautiful. The area is quiet but you’re very close to the heart of San José (45-minute walk to Mercado Central); there’s a convenience store (AM PM) close by; great location overall.VERY HAPPY with my stay and HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💕💕💕

  Excellent, comfortable facilitites in a safe area. All staff were welcoming and always prepared to go out of their way to answer questions and sort things out on my behalf. Could not fault my stay. Would highly recommend this hostal, in fact have booked to do so again upon my return from Nicaragua.
