Location

The hotel is only a few minutes' drive from Juan Santamaría International Airport and with its convenient location enabling quick and easy access to the city centre (2 km away) and the surrounding countryside. A selection of shopping facilities and entertainment venues can be found in the shopping centre located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The nearest public transport stop is 500 m from the hotel.

Facility

56 single rooms and 44 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park.     Great Stay Near San José Airport

    We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn near the San José airport. The complimentary shuttle service was fantastic and made everything very easy, picking us up from the airport on arrival and dropping us back the next day without any hassle.The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a short stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, which made the experience even better.We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet — a great variety and a perfect start to the day. The outdoor pool area was beautiful and a nice bonus for relaxing before our flight.Overall, a very convenient, comfortable, and pleasant stay — we would happily stay here again when flying through San José.     Location- well located. Convenient to airport. Atmosphere- very welcoming and hospitable reception and staff. Fabulous breakfast included with room. Costa Rican style rice and beans, along with scrambled eggs, meat, plus other warm food options.Bread station for toast with options of peanut butter, butter, cream cheese, or jam. Cold meats and cheese, salad foods, boiled eggs, bakery section, cold cereal section, fruit section, juices, tea, coffee. The staff who service the breakfast are excellent and very personable. Rooms- very clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Shower has great pressure. Beds are comfortable. Love that they have a soft and a firm pillow on the bed for each person. Pillow cases are labeled safe and firm. Nice touch!My husband enjoyed the swimming pool which was large enough to swim laps.Fabian, nice young man in the gift shop , is very pleased to share the area with you.     I stayed for just one night prior to my departure from Costa Rica. The hotel is near the airport and they offer complimentary parking. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. They have a gym and store you can buy snacks and water. They have complimentary breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00am and most important a shuttle service to the airport that runs every 15 minutes in the morning. An added bonus is that if you rent a car while in Costa Rica. The car rental center is in the same plaza as the hotel like a 2 minute walk. I rented from NU car but there are others in same building as well. I think the price is reasonable considering all the amenities I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels in my travels and have always had a good experience.     Good Night's Sleep Close to the Airport

    After a very long day of travel we stayed here to be close to the airport on the last night of our 10 day trip to Costa Rica. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good but what stood out most was the pleasant and helpful staff at the front desk. I'd like mention a particularly helpful young lady, Zamora who went above and beyond to help us with our boarding passes when I was having problems with my phone. She was great at multitasking, helping us, without keeping the others waiting to check in at the same time, very impressive. The hotel has an airport shuttle which runs frequently and is very convenient, we did hear planes taking off a few times in the early evening but it didn't affect our good night's sleep.
