Good hotel with helpful staff and good facilities, hot spa pool a joy. Many eating establishments nearby with easy access from the hotel. Room comfortable with good facilities and excellent lift and corridor access. Great base to explore San Jose. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice.

Basic hotel, poor breakfast

Rooms basic, Breakfast poor, you can only have fried eggs if you stay for more than 1 night. Only has a 2 slice domestic toaster and bread is minuscule. Perfect airport hotel

Before staying here i read a lot of reviews on tripadvisor and booking.com and feel some of them are quite unfair really. This is very much an airport hotel. Somewhere you would stay for one or two nights, post or pre airport visit. This hotel we really enjoyed, plenty of parking for a hire vehicles. Friendly and helpful staff and an easy check in procedure. The hotel is located not far from a main highway but you couldn't hear it at all. The complex is like a little oasis with a pool in the middle, very well maintained gardens. It is extremely peaceful. Definitely easy to fall asleep by the pool or read a book.The hotel is slightly dated with its decor but is very clean and comfortable. Our room was nice, 4th floor, clean, had everything we needed. Water pressure is exceptional so showers are amazing. Little toiletries in the room which is a nice touch.The gym next door is impressive. Shuts at 5pm on a weekend and 8pm in the week and opens early should you wish to get a workout in during your stay. Within the complex you have a number of different places you can find dinner at, the holiday inn hotel restaurant linked, a Denny's diner, another diner type restaurant and a subway. Morning breakfast had plenty of options, standard costa rican breakfast of eggs rice and beans, fresh fruit, bread, yogurt and cereals. Definitely recommend staying should you be looking for somewhere close to an airport. Decent hotel, but the location is far away from the airport. On a Friday evening it took us about an hour from the airport. Would instead recommend the multiple options right near the airport.
