Location

This hotel is located directly on the beach, in the bay of Tiha by the Adriatic Sea. The establishment is set in the historical, picturesque town of Cavtat, where guests will find numerous restaurants, terraces and shops along the seashore. It is 20 km to Dubrovnik city and Dubrovnik Airport is just 5 km from the beach hotel.

Facility

    A fabulous holiday spent with wonderful friends Top hotel Great central location Wonderful breakfast… evening meal not as good we ate out most of the time and there are plenty of restaurants to dine at.The pool/bar attendant was the very best.. couldn’t do enough for us,always kind, caring and professional in his work.. hopefully we will return….

    We paid extra for a room with a sea view and it was worth every penny. The balcony was very narrow but the view was superb.A couple of criticisms - 1. At breakfast there were 8 types of tea and various coffees available but no decaf. Not what I'd expect in a 4 star hotel, especially when all of the restaurants around served it.2. The mini fridge was the worst I've ever had. Again, not what I'd expect in a hotel of this calibre. We considered bringing our 17 year old with us and he takes medication that needs to be stored between 2° & 8°, thankfully he stayed home as the mini fridge certainly wouldn't have been cold enough.     Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet part of Cavtat. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We stayed in a Deluxe Balcony room, which had a fantastic view and was well worth it.There are several lovely restaurants just outside the hotel, making it easy to enjoy great meals without having to travel far. The pool area was also excellent – clean, relaxing, and well maintained.My only complaint would be the charge of €15 for a sunbed at the front of the hotel. Personally, I don’t think hotel guests should have to pay extra for sunbeds. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel.     stunning views.All the staff very friendly and helpful.We had a very nice room with balcony and sea view.There is an indoor restaurant and outdoor restaurant across the quiet road to the front of hotel.The buffet breakfast is excellent with British and continental foods, there is also a chef present to rustle up omelettes etc etc.Regarding the roof top pool, there is a booking system in place for sun loungers which prevent any unfair claiming of loungers.You pay 8euros for a sun lounger but you can claim back that fee at the pool snack bar as long as the bill is over 8 euros.We saved our sun lounger fees and this paid for lunch one day at the pool snack bar, great idea.Across from the hotel is a concrete prom which is great for sun bathing and for swimming in the partitioned off area, this partition shows its safe to swim as boats are not allowed there.Down the steps and turn left and you are amongst the shops/bars and restaurants etc within a 5min walk, turn right and theres a few nice restaurants.Hotel Cavtat great place to stay Management Team , Other at Hotel Cavtat, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience at Hotel Cavtat.We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our beautiful location, stunning sea views, and the comfort of your room.     What a lovely, well located hotel this is. I booked a room with a balcony and sea view. It's a big, comfortable room with good amenities and I'm very happy with my choice. The staff in reception are delightful and advised there is a spa in the hotel. After travelling for 1 month I had a well deserved body scrub and my skin has never felt better.
