  Amazing Experience! Centrally located Gem of a Hotel!

  The owners met me at the gate when I arrived and showed me to my room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Incredible private communal patio with flowers. 5 min walk to the beach. Right near a bus stop that takes you directly to the city center. I had everything I needed and felt right at home. The staff was very attentive and messaged me back when I asked for recommendations. I loved this place! I even extended for a night because it was so lovely.

  Dark, damp and cold

  Pictures are nice, ratings are high. The apartments are generally booked throughout the summer. What the host forgot to tell you:1. You will need to climb 54 steep steps (we counted) to reach the house. It is not accessible by car. Of course you will try and get used to it, or justify whichever you can, but do take into account before you book. 2. The apartments are on the lower level of a house built on a steep slope. It smells, lives and feels like basement. Ours was dark, cold and constantly damp. In the middle of hot sunny summer days, you will crave sun and warmth and will need lights on inside even in the middle of the day. 3. There is a (shared) terrace in front, which has no views and no sun (it faces north) - except for maybe half an hour in the evening. 4. The bed creeks (we weren't able to sit up in the bed as the headboard was in danger of falling off). Mattresses are probably decades old with no support and are hard to sleep on. Same goes for the sofa - nice colors (good for pictures) but not comfortable to sit on or sleep on.5. The bathrooms are small with constant strong and unpleasant sewer smell. But again, pictures are nice, and ratings are high. At least you will have nice pictures for your Instagram. And yes, the host is nice. That doesn't make up for a thoroughly uncomfortable stay.
