Location

This hotel is set right on the beach, in the centre of Mlini. Guests will find the nearest links to the public transport network just about 200 m away. It is some 8 km to the UNESCO site of Old Town Dubrovnik, the tourist centre of Cavtat and Lokrum Island. Elafite Island is roughly 10 km and the city of Dubrovnik is about 12 km away.

Facility

8 single rooms and 62 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Other services include a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service.

Rooms

    Perfect location, beautiful rooms, helpful staff. So quiet at night. Mlini is a quiet and upmarket resort. Breakfast is superb. Close to the boat taxi to Dubrovnik. We were there for Corpus Christie which was an added bonus in this lovely community. We went with Jet2. Highly recommend x

    Mlini is a great town a short distance away from old town. It was the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful and the rooms are clean with great views.

    Excellent hotel,very friendly staff on reception,bartender Ivan,Davor and Mladen were there for our every need food and drink wise.Ivan talked us into a few rounds of local drink rakiza,very strong and good local brandy.Pool was pretty close in the hotel next door,gym aswell.All together it was an excellent stay with a lot of new friendships.

    Nice little hotel. All hotel rooms face the sea so every room has a seaview which is nice. Rooms are cleaned every day, with new towels provided. Breakfast is very good with choices of fresh fruit, cereals, different breads/rolls, various cheeses, bacon, sausages, eggs done 3 ways, hash browns etc. Facilities are in the sister hotel next door, the Astarea. Included are swimming pools, spa and gym. Pool area is lovely, well maintained & clean. Amazing backdrop of the mountains right behind the hotels. If you plan on hiking I would bring boots as we passed a few snakes upwards towards the little church up the hills. There is a very small shop just where the big plane tree is,selling water, crisps, some biscuits and the odd wine and beer and souvenirs and that’s it (cash only) If you want extra items such as tea, milk, toiletries etc you’ll need to go to the supermarket although they’re also quite basic. No pain killers/meds. The nearest supermarket - If you go up the back of the hotel, up the hill to the main road and take left and start walking you will pass 2 supermarkets and some restaurants/bars. A 15 mins walk in this direction will bring you to a shopping area that has a pharmacy, H&M & a Semichem type shop. (Close to the Sheraton hotel) Water taxis are out the front of the hotel which take you to either Dubrovnik or Cavtat - €15 return pp. Eating choices close the hotel:Oleander Restaurant - went once, not great. Cocktails expensive. Basilica Pizza/pasta place directly in front of the hotel is very nice. Cafe Hogar (just out of the hotel, turn right) - great cocktails, reasonably priced & lovely to sit at the small harbour. (You’ll pass an ATM here if you need one. They charge £5.95 per withdrawal and an additional charge at the weekends) Konoba Lanterna (beside cafe hogar) beautiful steaks. Staff were helpful and pleasant in the hotel and it was always immaculate. No entertainment provided so if it’s a quiet stay your after it’s perfect. Lovely to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning being so close to the sea.(Traveller tip for this area - bring a very well stocked med kit with you. If you’re unwell or need medication such as antibiotics it’s hard going. You absolutely cannot get any meds without a doctors prescription. A pharmacist can’t issue anything. I needed antibiotics for a UTI. I consulted google that advised to visit the Cavtat medical centre who see tourists. Got the boat over. The doctor didn’t speak any English and I enlisted the help of a local who translated for me. Doctor was very rude, abrupt and unhelpful and most certainly did not treat tourists. The local advised the only way to get seen was in the emergency room beside the airport or go to Dubrovnik to see a private doctor. So another boat/taxi/costs. Nothing simple) Mlini is a nice quiet area with lovely views from the hotel room.
