    Congratulations Croatia. 🇭🇷 A package deal with Jet 2 tools us seamlessly to just outside Dubrovnik to the wonderful Royal Blue Hotel. What a warm greeting we received by reception ( Brenda and Goran). The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff are very diligent to ensure standards are kept high. The servers for the restaurant ( Petra) in particular were excellent at keeping you informed and with food and drink. There were plenty of places to relax and catch the sun, the pool staff were quick to find you a lounger and a place of your choice to relax. The resort and nearby town of Lapad were very clean and offered you a variety of places to eat. The local bus service is easy to use, reasonable and quickly takes you into Dubrovnik old town. Lastly Croatia offers beautiful sea in which to swim, dramatic scenery which helps you to have a super holiday.     Good but not Great

    We had a beautiful view from our room. We loved the spaciousness of the room, but we noticed the carpet was worn and in some places, dirty. Also, the headboard’s leather/vinyl was peeling. The room cleaning staff did an inconsistent job of cleaning the rooms and even left a dirty cleaning towel on the floor of the guest bathroom. For the price we paid, the room should have been maintained better. I pre-ordered a bouquet for my Wife and it was in our room by the time we arrived and was beautiful. No personal or attentive service (not many smiles), but the grounds have lots of restaurants and places to visit.     Overpriced room upgrade

    We are staying at the Royal Palm for 7 nights & booked with ba.com We hoped to upgrade our room for the last 4 nights to a sea view...msinly as we get no sun on this side of the hotel, but have been advised it would be an addtional charge of 70 euros per night.This is way above any price I've seen online for the difference between a garden to sea view.Very disappointing and sadly would not recommend.

    I recently stayed with my girlfriend and some family members at the fabulous Royal Hotels & Resort from August 15th to 20th, 2025.​It was a truly wonderful experience. The apartment was superbly equipped, and we loved the wide selection of swimming pools and sea beaches. They offered a fantastic range of Dalmatian and continental specialties, all served with excellent service and the genuine kindness and professionalism of the staff.​The resort itself is beautifully situated along the coast, surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation. A beautifully landscaped promenade connects it to the attractive Lapad Bay and continues right to Dubrovnik's famous Old Town. Staying at the Royal Hotels—which absolutely deserve their 5 stars—is more than just a vacation; it's a beautiful, unforgettable dream. I heartily give it a perfect 10.
