  We really were lucky to stay here.

  Booking.com said we were lucky to book here; they were so right! As we drove here the taxi driver also commented that it was a lovely place and indeed it is! Paula had made contact as soon as we booked and helped with arrangements. When we arrived she and Drago welcomed us warmly and showed us the lovely apartment with a balcony looking out over the sea with wonderful sunset views each evening. The bed is especially comfortable, the shower is compact but very effective and all the appliances work as they should in the kitchen, which sadly is not always the case. The first evening I asked for some ice and then each evening it was waiting in our freezer for us. From the main road up the steps above the property there is a bus going to Dubrovnik in one direction and Cavtat in the other, the ride is less than €3 per person and the drivers were able to speak sufficient English to permit communication. Buses run frequently although there is often a need to stand. Walking down the steps from the Villa is Plat beach. Plat beach is not very exciting. Paula arranged for us to get a boat ride to the old city to catch the excursion boat to the Eleffiti Islands. Whilst this was a pleasant excursion, the trip to the Island of Lokrum was much better in our opinion. On our arrival day Paula’s suggestion to visit Cavtat was excellent Local dining options are limited and may need booking in advance. Again Paula offered to help.   Amazing place with a beautiful and peaceful view

  I first booked a room for 6 days, but then I saw there was also an appartment available, so Paule (the owner) changed it for me, for almost the same price! I am so happy and grateful about that. The appartment is amazing and super clean. She cleans it every day! This I did not know, which made me even happier. It had all I needed, also a Moka coffeemaker. You can also rent a beach towel for 5 euro a day, If I had known this I would have not brought my own. The freeway is above the house, but you hardly hear anything when you close the window and on the balcony I almost didn’t hear the cars. So it’s perfect if you want a quite and peacefull place. Everything you need to know about Plat and surroundings, Paula can help you and you can even buy tickets with her for excursions and the watertaxi. There is a busstop to Dubrovnik and Cevtat just 5 min.walk and costs around 3 euro’s. The beaches are 10-15 min.walk and just perfectly cute, great to get your rest. You have a restaurant and you can rent beachbeds with umbrella for 15 euro a day. I told Paula I wanted a floating pool matrass and an umbrella, so she gave me the ones she had to use while I was there, so sweet! But the very best was the view from the appartment, just WOW. It’s tricky, cause you don’t want to leave the balkony. If you don’t want to stay in Dubrovnik but close to, then this is the best place. There were not many tourists in Plat and I loved that. I wish I had booked at least 10 days, so next time I will definitely go back to stay with them for a longer time. Both very nice people Paula and Drago. Such a pleasure to stay in their beautiful house.

  I had the best experience at the villa panorama with Paula and Drago. They were such a lovely fun couple, who makes your stay such a joy and experience. Always there to help out and be so accommodating to your needs. The rooms are also so nice and the views are beautiful from the rooms too, not a lie. My first time seeing such great hosts. I would definitely recommend. I felt at home with them and more comfortable with my stay. They are so amazing honestly. Paula is such a wonderful lady too :) Your money will be worth it booking here as it’s in a quiet place with a beach away from the busy centre but still accessible.And they got a little zoo with turtles too :)Thank you for the experience guys.   We arrived in Dubrovnik by the ferry from Montenegro so we got the bus to the old town which took us 5 mins, from there we ended up taking a uber to the guesthouse which was 21 euro we did price up a taxi which they said 45 euros so don’t use taxis very overpriced . It took us about 20 mins which at first I thought we were too far away from Dubrovnik but soon realised it was the perfect location.When we arrived we upgraded to apartment which give us a living space & more room, the apartment was lovely & clean very modern & amazing views from the balcony. The beach is 10 mins walk which we used loads & 10 mins on the bus (10) or Uber is a lovely marina area called Cavtat which has lots of lovely restaurants to choose from or go 20 mins back into Dubrovnik loads of restaurants there as well. The 1 morning we did catch the water taxi that’s available to Dubrovnik took about 35 mins & it’s a great way to travel (15euros) & we got the bus back it goes every 1/2 hour. We had a lovely stay & hopefully we will return.
