  Excellent stay at Hotel Vival Maestral! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious with plenty of variety. The seaside location is beautiful. I would definitely come back!

  We had a great experience on our family trip. The hotel has an excellent playroom for kids, as well as a gaming room. The indoor pool was great; there is also an outdoor pool, but since we visited in January, we didn’t have a chance to use it.The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide variety of food to suit all tastes.The location is perfect—near the city center of Novigrad, just a few meters from the beach and parks. All the staff were very kind and helpful.We would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly come back.

  The hotel is clean . The food was a big disappointment the hot food was always cold , and so were the plates. Food was plentiful and served nicely.

  No air con, no fans, no help – just heatstroke

  This hotel is an absolute joke. We checked in on the 13th of September and were never told that the air conditioning had been broken for weeks. Our room was like a sauna (hitting over 29°C at night), and when we complained, the staff couldn’t have cared less. Their “solutions”? Close the curtains or leave the balcony door open. Yes, because I really want to risk my belongings being stolen just to survive the night.We asked about fans or a different room — apparently, they don’t own a single fan and couldn’t be bothered to help. The attitude from reception was basically “if you don’t like it, leave.” Shocking.The heat made my partner seriously ill — dizzy, vomiting, and showing clear signs of heat exhaustion. When I told reception, they offered zero compassion and zero help. We had no choice but to cut our holiday short and go home early, just to escape the conditions.What makes it worse is this wasn’t a new problem. Reviews show the air con had been broken for weeks, and the hotel still did nothing about it. No warning at check-in, no attempt to look after their guests, no responsibility taken at all.Novigrad is beautiful, but this hotel? Disgraceful. Until they fix their air con and learn how to treat guests like human beings, avoid at all costs.

  Execellent location, food and wellness! Hotel Maestral exceeded all expectations. The location is breathtaking, right by the sea with stunning views. The staff were incredibly welcoming making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Rooms were equipped and comfortable, and the food—especially the seafood—was top-notch. Ideal for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!
