  The Katoro aprtment about between 2 and 3 stars! Not 4… Cleanliness is terrible, in the restaurant (its a joke, its not restaurant, its a cantin) the AC not working, you can immagine some hundred people without any fresh air after a sunny day! Its terrible!I dont recommend for 2000 euros for a week. The marketinh photos absolutely different from the reality! Four star price, two and a half in reality. This was the last time, i spent money in this country!

  Location is good, kids have sth to do. Pool is big and clean. Apartment is dirty, fridge is without freezing part. The sink doesn't flush. Bathroom isn't cleaned. Tenda on balcony is broken. Well furniture is new so hope they are reparing other things. They surely don't deserve 4****

  One word - Disgusting

  We arrived late, around 22:00. There was only one person handling check-in so that took around an hour.Finding the apartment at first was hard as the sign had been broken off (nr.127). The apartment itself was disgusting, stinking of mold, hadn't been clean, ant farm at the toilet, and mold on ceilings and walls.I went to the front desk to complain, another 45 min of waiting as there were 3 people infront of me, 2 of them was complaing about the same thing. The guy at the front desk couldnt help.To make a long story short, I met 6 couples that along with us checked out the morning after and went to another place. I saw pictures from some of them and they were worse than mine. We were offered a "better"room but I did not accept as this is a party place, crazy noise until the morning. Would have been fine if I was travelling for party but not with 3 kids.This is pretty much the worst place I have ever stayed in.

  Great family resort

  This is our second stay in Sol Katoro. This time we had one of the superor Apartments with a view of the bay and pool arera. The atmosphere is Nice and calm. The perfect spot for children to have fun and for adults to enjoy themselves. The city of Umag is full of nice restaurants, and though it is 4 km away it is easy to reach with the frequent trains driving all day long.Definetly worth a visit Plava L, General Manager at Apartments Katoro Plava Laguna, responded to this review Dear Prebendahl, Thank You for being our guest.   Lack of professionalism

  I did not want to write review as I requested via email the GM's email address from the front desk but no response so far from them so they gave me no choice...When we got to the reception after travelling 8 hours we decided to pay upfront instead of check out. She said a completely different price as we had it been confirmed in december. She was trying to convince me which I would have accepted if there is any additional local tax or something like that on the top. Clearly she couldnt so I wanted to speak to her Duty Manager or someone in charge. Nobody wanted to speak to me and at the end she turn around and started to blame me saying..oh you have changed ur roomtype' I bursted out laughing as I did not touch my reservation since december.So we did not pay a cent more...forget about apology...as we got to the apartments they mixed them up and not even was prepared for 3 adults. tried to call reception but there was no answer although there were 5 people at reception. Went there personally and requested things to be done and guess what after2 hours I had to phone them again.....AC and remote control did not work properly,One morning we needed a doctor and again went to the reception asking for help and this girl knew nothing about the situation..apart from u cannot go to across the road because it is only for residence and marked me place on a map where she didn't know the opening time, phone number....anyway IF YOU NEED A DOCTOR JUST PLEASE GO OPPOSITE TO RECEPTION they are the kindest people in the resort.and my story still not finished..The resort itself is nice really good for families if they hired more professional smily people maybe they would do a better job.
