  Shame on Maistra for disgusting move to destroy Koversada

  I literally cried from heartbreak! Koversada was the first place I experienced naturism and became loving and accepting of my body. I revisited for several years, but never again! It is disgusting to say the least what has happened to this campsite! Everything looks the same, its all planned and renovated nicely- but FKK is about nature and the free spirit... not this commercialized, standardized business. The size of the FKK beach is tiny (and the worst part of the camp)compared to the "covered" parts and also has a sense of being secluded from the other parts- guess not to offend anyone, yet plenty of clothed people hanging out in FKK. Money-hungry Maistra should be ashamed! Also, do not reply with ai written soul-less remark about how much you appreciate our visit????   “Congratulations” The creators have managed to completely destroy the spirit of the Koversada campsite. From freethinking to textiles. Naturists are relegated to the “Yellow Ghetto” on dog beaches. It is clearly commanded that they should dress properly when entering the textile part. Why is it not clearly commanded to undress in the nudist part - including children and onlookers? I understand money is always first and renting eco-bikes and inflatable abomination (castle) earns more. The founding father is spinning in his grave.   From World-Class Naturist Haven to Disastrous Textile Camp

  Instead of finally renovating and improving one of the greatest naturist resorts in the world, they ruined a truly historic establishment by converting it into a textile camp. This will go down in history as one of the greatest hospitality failures, and whoever approved this at Maistra is incompetent and should find a career outside tourism. If attendance was declining each season, it was not due to a lack of naturists but rather to outdated facilities and overpriced services. Shame on you, Maistra, and I hope this impacts you greatly financially, as what you did to the marvel of Koversada is inexcusable.   Nature here is magic! ROOMS and services inadeguate.. This is no more an Fkk structure and they did not advise about it.. Also other guest were not aware.. Unacceptable!   Famous naturist park, now turned into a textile park

  Koversada was one of the oldest FKK camps in Europe, and anyone who visited in the last coupe of years (as I did, and am glad I got those chances) would have immediately noticed how most of the campers seem to have been spending holidays there - for generations. With good reason, the nature is beautiful, the location itself fairly decent (I assume, most of the visitors were German), and there are not many naturist parks of this size around.This year, the owner, Maistra, has decided to turn most of the campsite into a regular textile camp, leaving only a smaller part for the naturists (I would also say, the least attractive part, although this is a bit of a personal preference. But the camp has a small island, very pretty and great for tents and just a day on the beach - this signature island is no longer available to the FKK visitors). From what I can read in the press releases, Maistra calculated they will gain more profit if they turn textile, and while in the short-run this may be true, I will be surprised if they ever manage to get as many stable, long returning guests as they had, and will undoubtedly lose with this decision. It is not just a cosmetic change, they have effectively decided to get rid of the previous guests, and kill the FKK brand this place was famous for over decades.I am happy I got to visit the Naturist Koversada while it was a naturist resort, but obviously will not be returning, and will make sure not to ever visit anything owned by the company that decided to shut down the Croatian oldest naturist park. What a sad, short-sighted decision...
