Well we stayed here has part of a TUI tour holiday! Some of the group were in seaview balconies rooms while we weren’t so lucky having the very basic room! Asked for the same and they wanted €280 for the week the receptionist wasn’t very hospitable ! The room It was clean & tidy but the fittings were rusty and carpet was like a Brillo pad really needed updating! The food & restaurant were really nice and plenty of choices and staff and chef were very nice the pool’s and grounds were well kept has were the gym overall it was a pleasant stay

Relaxing family time in the sun

The hotel is well located only a few minutes walk from Mendulin town centre. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, functional and modern but could do with being a little larger. The main restaurant is buffet style for breakfast and dinner but offers plenty of choice. An improvement here would be offering hot rather than cold plates. I was surprised how busy the hotel was as we chose to visit when the school holidays were over with. There is a ‘beach’ just outside the rear of the hotel, it is small though and pebbly. There are three swimming pools, one indoor and a large gym. Would I return, yes, so I guess that says it all.

The resort was busy but clean tidy and well organised with the exception of a dreadful leak on the last 2 days of our holiday.The breakfast is a really lovely buffet we enjoyed it.Really close to the beach.

Very nice hotel, but many guests and poor beds

Positive: Excellent breakfast, 2 very big pools and one for small children. Activities by the pool and pool towels. Very close to the beach and walking distance to Medulin. Negative: Very poor beds. They were so worn that they dipped in the middle like hammocks. Too many people (overcrowded) at breakfast. Loud music from the beach all night during the weekend.

So let’s start with the good things, this hotel is in a beautiful location and the restaurant is situated overlooking the beach below - stunning. The staff are nice enough and the hotel grounds are well maintained. The gym and indoor pool area are fabulous - and the gym was certainly well catered for. The kids club team were great, my daughter really enjoyed it. The private beach owned by the hotel is just a few minutes walk. It’s very stoney so make sure you have water shoes. We had a real issue for the first three days with our room being cleaned. Not great at all. The rooms are nice but there is nowhere near enough storage for four people, barely enough for two people. The fridge in the room is a mini bar which isn’t ideal when you can only stay half board so would have been better having a larger fridge to keep water etc in. The other issue was that the nearest supermarket was a 15min walk away. The shop in the hotel doesn’t even sell water or drinks!! The bottom and walls of the pools are very rough and my children both got badly scraped as a result. The food was good. Word of warning to those travelling with fussy eaters, there are no chips - ever!! There was freshly made pizza most nights, but not every night. There’s very little interaction around the pool during the day and the pool bar at the second pool only opened once we’d been there for a week but it was nice enough. In our first week the sunbed situation wasn’t a problem but it was definitely busier in the second week with people laying claim to sunbeds early in the morning. There are no lifeguards at either pool so no one monitors the sunbed situation. Very few places in Medulin take card so make sure you have plenty of euros with you. We organised a day trip to Venice from Pula, it was a very long day but really was worth it. I would definitely return to Croatia but probably not to this location again because we feel like we’ve seen it now.
