  A nice resort hotel but very busy.

  I had booked this hotel through TUI last year. When we arrived the hotel looked lovely and the reception staff helpful and friendly. Our room wasn’t ready but we did arrive early so knew it wouldn’t be ready.Apartment 249 was lovely and had a great view to the sea and islands. Had a small fridge a safe and hairdryer. We felt a kettle and tea and coffee would have been great. The resort is quite hilly and has loads of steps everywhere. Saw some escalators too to the higher apartments .The resort was lovely and a short walk to the harbour which was beautful. A rocky beach but beautful clear seas. Saw quite a few jellyfish but not dangerous.A few things that were not so good about the resort.It’s mainly a German resort so everyone spoke German. There were hardly any English guests.Towels on sunbeds to reserve them and some times no one came and sat on them all day! They saved them just incase which was very selfish . People from the boats also came to use the pool and would use the sunbeds! I saw this happen daily. We saw the older man with the whistle save sunbeds for his friends too ! Other hotels nearby also used the pool and it Was very busy.We booked half board and the food wasn’t that great, the same almost every day and the amount of rude guests too! The staff in the pool bar and restaurants were AMAZING. A big shout out to Tea who remembered our room number everyday and was so polite and helpful. Everyone works so hard and are always very polite. Thank you to everyone .Vrsar was beautful but not much to do there. The old town is beautful and we found a quiet beach past the harbour. We did boat trips to see the dolphins, lim fjord,pirate cave and Rovinj. Rovinj is stunning and we went there twice. I wouldn’t bother with the tui trips as very expensive. You can get a bus to porec which is worth a visit. It cost us 10 euros for the 3 of us. And you can do a boat trip which will take you to Rovinj too. We went to dinopark which cost us 20 euros each way by taxi, and buses don’t go there!Maybe the resort can look at doing a minibus service there? As taxis are very expensive.Evening entertainment not great. Kids disco and a magic show but nothing else. There is so much that this resort could do to make it better. It is a very busy resort and you do get hassled but waiters trying to get you to come into their resturants as you walk down to the harbour. There are loads of bars and restaurants and there is a market at night which was nice but again very busy. We had a great 2 weeks here but I don’t think we will be back.   We had a vacation in Belvedere and it was a wonderful experience.The transfer arrived before check-in time, but the reception staff was kind enough to check us in earlier. The kids had a great time with the animation staff.And shout out for Tea from the pool bar for always having a smile on her face.??We will be back, highly recommend.   A great spot in a lovely village

  This resort is ideally placed, right on the sea front and about a 5 minute walk to the market. There are loads of restaurants as you walk along the marina. The old town is up the hill and is very pretty. The coast here is rocky and the beaches are pebbly so bring your beach shoes! There's a lot of holiday accomodation in Vrsar so it does get very busy especially in the evenings.The accomodation is good, we went for a 2 bed apartment room only. It comes with a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, hob and coffee maker). There's no kettle but a saucepan on the hob for boiling water is fine. The air conditioning isn't great and it's been hot overnight but not unbearably so. There's also no laundry room for guests to do their own washing but a big terrace in the room to hang things to dry.It is very hilly here. They have escalators to help get up the hill but they don't all work. They didn't help to get our luggage to the room- I think this is because a lot of people drive (there's a lot of cars from Austria). We went for breakfast one morning in the restaurant. As others have said it was very loud and busy. We've been getting breakfast from the bakery 5 minutes walk away. The pool is nice, not the biggest but it has a toddler pool, splash/slide pool and normal pool all together. There's plenty of sun loungers (although people tend to hog the parasols). The sun lounger area is banked with grass and trees so you can see what's going on in the pool. There's no hire car company in Vrsar as far as I can see and public transport is fairly non-existent. Taxis are quite expensive. Hire a car from the airport if you want to explore! There are plenty of boat trips from the marina.Activities for teens are only in the evening and can be 7+ or 12+. However there is a gaming room open from 6pm where you can get a half hour slot to play a game. The older one got some Fortnite time whilst we played Mario kart. It's very well organised and you can pre-book your slot one or two days in advance.   Just returned from this amazing resort. The room and facilities were spotless one of the nicest we have been too. We ate breakfast a couple of times, loads of choice. Lunch at snack bar is chips pizza etc but all good and evening meal was lovely too. The icecream and iced coffees are to die for. Pool area very busy but never had a problem nice and relaxed atmosphere and plenty going on. Entertainment during day and night was nice for our 15 year old. You do have to pay for the sun loungers next to sea area but we just used our towels and got a nice shaded areas under trees as the sea is so inviting you can’t not go in. The town is lovely and we took a couple of boat trip again a must do. The only thing we found disappointing was the lack of choice in the restaurants in the town all a bit the same, but nice places. The weather was 10/10 sun sun sun.
