This complex is situated on the peninsula of the same name, between the town of Vrsar and the Koversada motorcamp. The village is located along the coast, and the centre of the settlement of Vrsar is only a 10-minute walk away along the footpath. Rovinj is a 30-minute drive away and it is 45 minutes by car to Pula.

Guests have a choice of 176 rooms and 48 apartments. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a safe, a currency exchange service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop and tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example cycling/mountain biking, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, Nordic walking and horse riding or, for a fee, tennis and crazy golf. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes canoeing, sailing, snorkelling and aquafit, with paddle boating and diving available for a fee. The apartment hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, badminton, billiards, darts, yoga, callisthenics, aerobics and handball or, for a fee, table tennis. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety.     The hotel was spotlessly clean , food was reasonably good and the restaurant and cleaning staff were friendly and welcoming. However, that is where the positives end. There were 150 teenagers belonging to a school group meaning that mealtimes were chaotic and very loud. Several times we had to share a table with other guests as there was simply no capacity for the numbers. It gets worse…our room was plagued by ants and the woman at reception was rude and unhelpful. Thankfully the cleaning staff delivered some bug killer spray. It gets worse…a group of several hundred bikers were staying at the adjacent campsite and decided to party late in to the night at our hotel and take over the pool complex with more loud music and games. When we complained to reception about being kept awake by the loud music until gone midnight and being awoken at 5am by a fellow guest on speakerphone on her balcony…the man on reception laughed and said, “oh well, they will leave soon”There was no public transport available at all from vrsar to anywhere and we were told to book trips through the hotel. We booked two trips and both were cancelled.I am a frequent traveller and have travelled all over the World. I always tend to leave positive reviews. I can honestly say, this has to be one of the worst experiences that I have encountered. I have never come across such unhelpful staff. Clearly this hotel cares more about beer drinking, money spending, noise making bikers and school groups than it does about its paying guests. AVOID at all costs. Terrible!     I have spent 10 days in Petalon resort with my wife and 8 year old son. There isnt much I can complain about. Hygiene is on high level in whole complex, food is versatile. The staff is very pleasant, my son loved the Kids Club crew and restaurant staff was very well trained and efficient (big praise for them). Location of hotel is great, you can walk around Koversada, Vrsar is very close. And you never have a feeling of being in artificial place, nature is integrated into this complex.     Wonderful Seaside Stay with Just a Few Minor Issues

    We had a wonderful time at your place. The beach was clean, the pool was clean, and the surroundings were also well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only slight inconvenience was the bathtub, as it is quite high. We had a beautiful view of the sea. The food was amazing with a wide variety to choose from. The only small downside was that the market is closed on Sundays—or rather, it closes at 2 PM. I think it would be better if it stayed open longer.
