Welcoming and helpful like no other before

  27 Aug 2026

We were welcomed in an emergency situation, a bus of 50 people, at 11.30pm. They gave us rooms, ready to use, and waited until late to give us the chance to have a dinner worthy of the name, at a really low cost. Really very satisfied. We had the pleasure of staying at the Continental Hotel in Opatija this week while celebrating my grandparents’ 55th wedding anniversary, and we could not have chosen a better place for such a special occasion. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks once again to Ms. Patrícia and her wonderful team for their warm hospitality, kindness, and genuine care throughout our stay. The entire team was always smiling, friendly, and incredibly welcoming, which made us feel truly special and at home.We were very happy with our beautiful and comfortable room, and the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options. We also thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the à la carte restaurant — the food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding.Thank you for making such an important family celebration even more memorable. Beautiful hotel in a historic building, renovation which conserved the original charm, very comfortable, clean and fresh, great location and expert staff assistance.
