  we waited 40min for our waiter ti come to our table.He even looked at my father and ignored him. Teribble would not recommend.

  Gorgeous Heritage Experience

  Stayed two nights in the grand heritage protected Imperial hostel, built in 1885 and the second oldest hotel in Opatija. Gorgeous large room, ornate plaster on walls and ceiling, impossibly high ceilings, modernised with air conditioning. Has an excellent Wellness Centre with attentive staff and the breakfast is expansive and quite extravagant.

  Loft room is truly amazing. Great breakfast, although lack of champagne for breakfast was quite a dissapointment. Selection of cheese might be better.Spa is nice, but pretty small.Dinner is good. Amazing deserts.Very Viennese dining hall. Good value for money.

  Old charm & excellent location BUT

  Old charm& excellent location but renovation nedded asap...Stuff doesn't have coordination or cheaf manager so there is a luck of taste for details and guest experience is very poor. Food is terrible not ap. for the hotel. Roooms are clean, bad are super confortable but all in all this hotel is max 3 star. Note that only foreginer staff w here, so no croatian vibes.

  Gorgeous heritage hotel with embarrassingly poor service

  Perfect location, stunning rooms, extensive breakfast buffet but for the price, its a huge disappointment. No porter down the steep hill, no tissues, only 1 bottle water per stay. Housekeeping didn't clean properly and left dirty coffee cups. Reception staff were lazy & unhelpful. We felt like an imposition! The only smiles each day were from the 2 Filipino breakfast staff June & Elena.
