    This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. This is a room without elevator in a fourth floor without concierge service. There are no amenities. If you have luggage and you're elderly, please book another place to stay. The room was clean but tiny. The breakfast included is a voucher in a restaurant a block away.

    Terrible!!!worst experience ever, we decided to loose our money and go to another Hotel.First is not a Hotel is just a room , 4 rooms on top of a bar with no reception without all the services a regular hotel provides, on top of everything you need to go up and down 5 floors using a filthy stairs.My sugestion is STAY AWAY!!!!!complete rip-off

    You have to walk up 4 flights of stairs, but that's the case with most of the apartments in the Old Town. The staircase is wide, carpeted and easy to navigate with luggage. Petra is also onsite during your check in to help.The room is gorgeous and well decorated. Blackout curtains and noise-proof windows help keep the chaos of the Old Town at bay. The bathroom is stocked with toiletries and slippers. Coffee and tea are available.Marko and Petra are lovely hosts. Although they're not onsite most of the time, they're only a message away on WhatsApp. They allowed me to check in early when I arrived earlier than expected and gave me helpful tips about what to see and do.I would heartily recommend this little slice of heaven.

    Good hotel but walk up five floors

    No lift but Rebecca helped with the luggage. We are in our 60s. It is hard to go up 90 steps every day several times. Wish we knew before, we would have booked elsewhere.We had to buy tea, milk, sugar since they do not keep anything in the room like other hotels in Europe do. Bit disappointing.The location is excellent. But we could hear people partying all night. At 4am someone drunk was banging on the door and rattling the door handle. Not happy.

    A cosy room in the heart of the Diocletian Palace

    The Luxury Room Bajamonti is ideally located in the Diocletian Palace, just a minute's walk to the main square and three minutes to the Riva (the harbour area). The room was of a good size, was characterful and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and tea/coffee facilities were available. The bathroom was also a good size and very clean. We were given breakfast vouchers for the Luxor Restaurant in the main square and it was very nice. We'd recommend this hotel as a great base to explore Split.
