    The hotel overall was pretty comfortable and nice, but the staff was beyond horrendous. Followed by a strange man claiming to be security. Extremely aggressive of the first approach. Tried restricting me from walking to my room claiming that I am “not allowed to walk the halls” ( my friends were next door). Extremely disappointed with the treatment of the staff. Did not feel welcome nor safe. The exchange was very direct with me expressing how uncomfortable his attitude and approach was considering the fact that quote “I am being followed everywhere I go with the cameras.- an immediate concern for my safety. The gentleman’s name was “Luke”. And again there is no staff present at check in. Or at any point in the lobby even in the broad daylight. The staff was very rude and I do not recommend staying here if you are in the mood to put up an argument and feel scared for the remainder of your stay. Thank you!

    Check the local holiday schedule BEFORE you book. We were booked during May 8-10th - not aware of the local celebration in which the band stand was directly out side our hotel. The last night of our stay resulted in little to no sleep as the band played until well past 1.00am.

    Located right in the historic center of Split, this hotel is truly 4 stars with very stylisch and large rooms, all amenities in the rooms and extremely helpful and friendly staff who helped us with solid advice in planning the rest of our trip through Croatia. Rooms were quiet and the hotel was recently renovated to reflect the historic style of the building.

    Excellent location for the centre of Split. Room was spacious and clean and staff very friendly and helpful. We chose to take the hotel offer of pick up from airport and was so glad we did, as would have struggled to find it first time if we took our own way. Good value for money.

    Since I made the reservation, its location became attractive to me, in the heart of Split, everything just a few steps away: restaurants, cafes, ice cream, in short, everything. Upon arrival, I never thought that the building was shared by two other hotels, each occupying a floor. The room was spacious and clean with decor worthy of the city. The small staff was friendly, especially Iva; she was very pleasant and always ready to give recommendations and directions. My wife has a strict medical diet due to her health. She asked where to buy a snack, and Iva, without much thought, went to the reception refrigerator and offered my wife some of her food. Kudos to Iva! In short, we had five very pleasant days in Split.
