    Very convenient and comfortable

We took a Catamaran boat from Split. It took one hour to reach Hvar. What a beautiful place it is. Apartment Villa Tudor is located just on the harbor. We walked straight to the apartment after disembarkation .It has all the arrangements for cooking etc. The line of restaurants below served good breakfast and meals. The Hvar fort is within walking distance. Must have fresh lobsters in the restaurants. You select the fish and they cook for you. The fruit market is too good. Must have those huge cherries, they are soo good.

Quiet and charming apartment hotel at a stunning location

If your goal is to relax and take pleasure in swimming, snorkelling or sunbathing, there is no better location. Villa Tudor is located in Milna, 7.7 km west of Hvar city. Our apartment (the smallest at the villa) was basic but functional, but had a balcony with sea view, and great value for money. The owners were extremely friendly and service minded. They operate a small bakery where you can order various pastries for breakfast. Milna it self is a very small town, and Villa Tudor is separated from Milna "centre" by a strip of forest. From the villa there is a 200m walk through an olive grove to a small pebble beach. There are two restauranst by the beach, which both serve excellent locally caught seafood. The water is as clear as you will find anywhere.

Great service and a lovely town

    rating24 Aug 2017

We stayed here for 6 or 7 nights this summer and completely enjoyed every minute. Milna is the perfect sleepy place if you're looking to disconnect and shut off from the real world for a minute or two. The water is crystal clear, the people are nice, the food is excellent, and you cant do anything other than swim, sleep, eat, and enjoy. Nothing to buy or see here, so bring a book! Nives (proprietor) was so unbelievably helpful and friendly, we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to be. She picked us up from Hvar (10€) and continually offered to drive us around if we needed anything. We walked one day to Hvar Town (about an hour hike or so). She also helped us with some beach equipment (umbrella, floating devices, beach towels etc.). That was really amazing, especially for the price of the apartment! The room was clean and pleasant with a beautiful balcony overlooking the bays (about a 5 minute walk down a steep hill). There was only one little market in town, but there were 6 restaurants, each one better than the next.Highly recommend staying here and in this lovely little village.

Wonderful peaceful stay in Villa Tudor, Milna, Hvar

    rating22 Jul 2017

From the start, our experience with booking and staying at Villa Tudor was extremely pleasant and easy. Our first e-mail enquiry was answered by Nives within 1/2 hour, and ever since then the communication was quick and easy. One of the most impressive features of their website is that they show plans of their apartments - so you can see exactly the layout of your accommodation and know exactly which way each bedroom is facing and how the kitchen is arranged. For a couple of architects this was a very pleasant surprise! :-)) Nives (the daughter of the family) answered all our questions in good English, and put to rest all our concerns with regards to the location, amenities, etc. I am a sort of traveller who asks all sorts of questions, such as "do you have any noise from motorbikes at the nearby road?" or "are there any loud tavernas nearby" :-) because I am a bad sleeper and am paranoid about noise on holidays. We agreed on the price, sent a deposit and waited for our departure date. Villa Tudor is a small apartment block on the top of a low hill, with absolutely stunning view of the turquoise sea and the tall Cyprus trees below. A short walk downhill (about 4-5 mins) takes you to a lovely secluded pebbled beach with clear water and a beautiful view towards Milna. If you walk down by a different path, it brings you to the actual "main" beach of Milna - a tiny village, with a cluster of white houses and a number of small family-run restaurants. For those who are worried about the up-hill position of Villa Tudor: it IS a longer walk up, of course, compared to the walk down (in my case 8-10 mins up compared to 4-5 mins down), but for a reasonably fit and healthy person this only serves as a great exercise, much more pleasant than sitting on a tread-mill in a sweaty gym :-) The accent is not very steep. At Villa Tudor we stayed in the Penthouse apartment, which is 2 floors, the 2nd floor is a spacious roof-attic with 2 beds but enough space for extra 2 beds which can be arranged if required. The flat was sparkling clean, with a small kitchen, 2 lovely bathrooms, a nice eating/living area, a second bedroom and a lovely view from a balcony. It is quiet and fully air-conditioned, and I slept really well there. Maria and Nives looked after us really well, answered all the questions, gave a lot of advice and offered to do our washing (there was no washing machine in our flat). When I went to collect it, all the washing was freshly ironed! I have never had my knickers ironed before - so felt very spoiled! :-)) I am a very fussy traveller, constantly complaining about noise, neighbours, things not working, etc. In Villa Tudor I felt absolutely no need to complain, because everything was perfect! The island of Hvar is really beautiful and we are so happy that we chose Croatia over Greece this year. Thank you, Maria and Nives, for a wonderful holiday!!
