    Stunning views but some issues

    The room itself had a wow factor when we walked in but it’s fair to point out it had steep steps up to the hotel and 35 steps to our room on the second floor (room 22). If you are elderly with mobility issues or not fit it would be an issue. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels which was great. Views from balcony were amazing & reception staff were super. We had 2 disappointments the breakfasts were poor compared to other hotels we have stayed in, in Croatia and my partner was bitten badly with what we think was bed bugs ( having read previous reviews and seen the pictures) These came out badly the morning we were leaving. Maybe this can be looked at by the owners so it is resolved for other guests.

    I spent two nights in this hotel during my recent two-day work trip to city of Hvar and I can only recommend it to anyone visiting Hvar for similar or touristical purposes no matter. Location orientated in the most strict city center with fabulous views from my first floor room facing sun and sea. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast from 7AM various options and very good lavazza coffee.

    Lovely small hotel in a centre of town yet with quite rooms even only stairs away from downtown. Truly comfortable bed in apparently just recently renovated room. Fast wifi provided everywhere around hotel. One of the best breakfasts of our Croatia trip served on the most charming terrace ever. Help with bags provided as we asked for it in advance.     What a great place to stay, in the heart of Hvar town. All the rooms are a bit different. One couple in our group had a peloton bike in their sitting area, another an elliptical. Some had better views than others but all the rooms were spacious with a comfortable sitting area separate from the sleeping quarters. Our shutters had a broken slat ... which let in light in the early morning ... but other than that, the room was really perfect. Surprisingly quiet at night .. being in the center of town, and friendly staff. Breakfast in the morning served outside on the lovely terrace with all the blooming flowers. Lots of steps from either direction to get to the hotel ... and no elevator so not the best place for someone with mobility issues. Secured at night - need card key for entry. Hotel also has a restaurant - Black Pepper. We didn't eat there but several in our group did and said it was fantastic.     Perfection in every way. From the moment we checked in, the staff and accommodations were 5 star caliber. Exquisite suite was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast area and entire area around hotel is beautifully decorated with the loveliest flowers. Hvar was a top destination on our Croatian holiday and the hotel is right in the heart of everything.
