  Not a 4 star, no entertainment, the service was sad because the people working there was maybe tired after the summer. The room was small.   We couldn’t fault Pharos during our 3 night stay. It’s a nice quiet location, only 10-15 minutes walk into town, lots of nice swimming spots on the nearby coast within 10 minutes walk.The staff were all very nice, one or two don’t speak the best English but then I’m not in England so that’s to be expected. The food was very good in the restaurant, the breakfast buffet was pretty good too, a particular favourite was the omelette station.If we were staying longer or for two weeks then the standard room we had might be a little cramped but for a few nights or long weekend I’d say it was fine. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the bag transfer service tot eh ferry port was a big help.   Excellent place. We loved our stay here. The services were first class. The pool and swimming spots were fantastic and the food was great.   The hotel itself is very comfortable, our room was lovely. The air-conditioning was effective and the shower was both hot and powerful.The buffet breakfast was very good with many many choices and far more than you could possibly eat The pool was very comfortable The staff were friendly and efficient The hotel is very conveniently located just a 10 minute walk from town There wasn’t much, that I didn’t like ….. the lunchtime snack options were very limited and even what there was , came in very large portionsBut the main problem was the Muzak…, everywhere in this hotel - the pool and patio, the pool bar, the main reception, the dining area - are all connected to endless Muzak that plays all day and you just cannot get away from it. Even the toilet by the pool, the back of the pool bar has a speaker inside it !!!So think again if you want a quiet relaxing, peaceful rest by the pool because you will get bombarded with endless Muzak. On our arrival, it was difficult to communicate with the receptionist because Adele was screeching right overhead.   Negative:Very much overpriced for what it is:Rooms are small, not particularly nice and not isolated against noise well.Breakfast consists of cheap convenience food.
