  Lovely quaint hotel positioned just inside the old town and very close to the Riva. Didn’t bother with breakfast as it was expensive and in another hotel. Front of house/ reception staff poor (apart for one). Not interested in guests, often didn’t even look up from phone or computer. Make use of the room safe. Do not leave cash in room.

  Amazing hotel

  Staying at this hotel exceeded all expectations. The location is hard to beat, the hotel is situated right next to the walls of Diocletian’s Palace, giving the stay a special charm and a true sense of being in the heart of Split. All the main sights, the Riva promenade, restaurants and cafés are literally just a few steps away.The terrace is a real gem of the hotel. The view over the entire city, the harbor and Marjan Hill is simply breathtaking, and spending time there at any time of day is a special experience.The room was perfect ,spotlessly clean, tastefully designed and extremely comfortable. A sense of peace and comfort was present from the first moment to the last. Special praise also goes to the staff, who were exceptionally kind, professional and always ready to make the stay even more enjoyable.All in all, a hotel that truly has it all, a place you return to without hesitation.

  Awful experience and the pictures you see are far from reality

  Pictures of this hotel looked great online , and they are still there . But the reality is very different.On arrival we expected a well kept hotel with a lovely covered terrace in front with tables and chairs under large canopies but when we got there we found the front completely derelict as if it had been abandoned with no covered terrace and the entrance down a dirty side alleyway.On arrival we found our rooms to be nothing like we expected . We paid for 2x luxury suites which were from that .Shower doors were hanging off and couldn’t be opened , safe did not work , the lamps flickered when touched , there were marks all over the blank white walls and the bed had two mattresses stacked on top off each other that were too small for the bed frame .When I went to reception to complain I was told by a very rude woman that I would be fixed but she couldn’t say when as the manager was not answering her phone .I asked to be moved to a different room and was just told no .On the second day someone entered my daughter’s room whist she was in the shower ( we presume a cleaner) and left leaving the door wide open . Staff were so unhelpful and rude and were more interested in scrolling on their phones .On the last day I asked about our transfer back to the airport but was told that she knew nothing about it even though it was all paid for before hand . I was told she could get me a transfer for 65 euro then shrugged her shoulders . Split was great but this hotel is awful and the pictures you see are far from reality .

  Interesting little hotel in great location

  Boutique hotel in the old town. Our room - 104 - was spacious with an excellent bed and facilities. It’s located in an ancient building full of character but it’s slightly hard to find the entrance. Receptionist was very friendly but overall very little in the way of service apart from the basics. Located near plenty of bars and restaurants and close to the harbour.
