    A great hotel.

    rating13 Jun 2026

This is a really nice hotel in an enviable location. There are two accommodation blocks, the swimming area, lovely grounds, and then the bar area (where lunch is also available) and the breakfast/dinner building.I just don't understand the bad reviews. It's modern, it's spotless, the bar is good, the location is fantastic, the breakfast is absolutely fine, the pool area is first-class, the cleaners come daily, the rooms are great. What the heck are people moaning about? I would recommend this hotel, and I'm fussy. If I would make any changes I'd stop smoking in the grounds. Being a Brit, smoking in public areas seems really obnoxious, but I acknowledge differences in culture. Breakfast has both cooked and continental options with juices yoghurts, breads spreads, coffees, fruit teas, cerals fresh fruit etc. There was no black tea for the whole duration of out stay, and being British this is a mortal sin, so we bought our own. We stayed B&B, so we can't comment on the evening meals. It's a 10 minute walk to town, and the location on the headland is brilliant, with fabulous views. We got a "sea side" room (this is a view of the sea, but it is at the side of the hotel). It's absolutely fine. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but there's a free safe, free air con, a fridge, a hairdryer, and TV. Towels are changed daily if you leave them on the floor. That aside, ignore the bad reviews, this place is very good indeed.

    Nice location but…..

    rating10 Sept 2025

Good points Location - scenery stunning with restaurant and bar overlooking the sea Bar staff attentive and helpfulOpen kitchen in restaurant -ladies that cooked were always smiling and singing which was lovely to hear and seeFood was really goodNegative PointsHotel is not a 4 star it’s basic and clean and needs to be refurbished Sun beds On checking in we were told that there would be sun beds reserved arriving at the pool the following day my friends found that the beds has already been taken. After going back to reception they were given more beds only to have a very rude aggressive man at the pool getting into an argument with us and being told to go home you English and to shut up. Needless to say we didn’t go back to the pool again as we just could not face the hassle and drama.

Really nice with a few flaws.

    rating08 Jul 2024

It's a nice hotel in a great location (10 min stroll to lovely town centre), with a few areas that let it down. It's clean, but carpets really should go. Great weather, so needed the aircon on overnight but then needed a cover. a king size bed with a double duvet cover isn't ideal. Basic toiletries in room (no shower cap, shampoo, etc). Paid extra for a sea view, which was 90% obscured by huge trees, 10% of sea view visible when looking hard to the left! Safe is small. No pool towels! I emailed ahead to ask this, unhelpful response telling me to ring the hotel. No parasols! You have to choose between sunbeds in strong sun or in total shade under the trees. Sunbeds in the sun were mostly taken / reserved. Parasols would be really great. Breakfast was fab with amazing views. Had a couple of lunches at the hotel bar, food very good. had a couple of milkshakes (cherry and hazelnut) which tasted of just milk. No decaff coffee available at breakfast. but I had taken my own. Worse thing? We had a late flight home, 22:30.. no shower available once you've checked out at 10:00 (the in-room guide said 11:00, and we were told off!). This is really unacceptable. Everyone needs a shower after hanging around all day. I would return but a disappointing sea view option, they do need parasols, and they need shower availability before you head for the airport.

    JUST DON´T.

    rating27 Jun 2024

Do your best to book different accommodation. The hotel is packed with small children banging and screaming, rooms are unclean ( to say the least ) and outdated. The carpets are appalling ( stained and damaged, JFC remove them or at least deep clean them ), and the whole complex is due for a thorough renovation. The poolside toilet overflows almost every other day ( it is right next to the buffet restaurant and might pose a high health risk ).Sounproofing in rooms DOES NOT EXIST, you can hear literally everything. The entire staff tries terribly hard to compensate for all this, but it is obvious that they are at the end of their wits.To conclude...just don't
