  No staff are on site. We had a problem with a noisy air conditioner, which the whats app chat person completely fobbed off until it was too late to have anyone come and look at it. I tried to get a refund so we could check out and find other accommodation but ‘they cannot process refunds’. What a load of bsTurns out a noisy air con was the least of our worries because from 10pm-3am the club down stairs opens and plays banging music basically into your bedroom, with people from the club hanging around directly outside your bedroom window. The cheap nasty ear plugs provided by the property did nothing to block anything out. The one time I didn’t read the reviews…..

  Only stay if you are out post 3am, it's really noisy.

  To be fair, the rooms and location are really good. However, unless you are a clubber and getting back very late, you will not get any sleep until after 3am. There is a nightclub underneath the rooms, you cannot hear this from the road but it sounds like you are in the DJ booth in the rooms. The soundproofing definitely does not work. Customer service is zero too. This is a shame as the rooms are really great and easy access to the old town in minutes. Would not recommend or stay again.

  0 out of 5 stars! The worst nightmare. Booked for 4 nights and left after a half night of sleeping, which was only possible after the super loud disco finally stopped music at 03:00! No service at all! Booked another hotel. I hope this could warn everyone, DO NOT BOOK THESE ROOMS

  Terrible service. There’s no staff on hand to help, check-in is confusing. I had to wait over an hour for someone to open my door for me after it got jammed and I was stuck outside. Would not recommend at all

  Things seem to have changed since the last reviews 5 years ago. Firstly there is no service for check-in at all, I’ve never had this in a hotel before. You are supposed to check-in and pay online and then they send you all the codes. I missed this message from them so when I arrived, couldn’t get in. I called the number given twice and no answer and then they did call me back and also WhatsApp’d the check-in information to me (the person WhatsApp’ing was helpful). It’s a bit of a faff, you have to take a photo of your passport and then a selfie of yourself with your head in the right position etc. Not ideal waiting outside to get in at night. The hotel and room itself was nice though, pretty decor clean and comfortable. I would say great location distance from the old town wise however, no sleep until the club downstairs closed at 2am (Wednesday night). I don’t consider myself a light sleeper either and it was very loud. Perhaps other rooms not at the front don’t have this problem so not making these rooms bookable may be an option.Finally I noticed that if you accidentally leave your key in the room, you get charged 38euro which is ridiculous. Absolute lazy, barely existent hotel service. This is what I expect in airbnbs not hotels.
