    Fantastic stay

Great value for money and the best hospitality. We stayed 1 night to be near the airport but could have happily spent longer, nothing was to much trouble, there were little extras in the rooms like tooth brushes. Ivana was so kind and lovely to us all. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

This place is the worst experience I have ever had in Croatia. It is dirty. worn out carpets, cracked and worn furniture, vey unwelcoming and uncomfortable. The pool area is worn and dirty,The beach view room we paid for overlooks a carpark to the side. only a giraffe would be able to see the sea. I asked to speak with a manager and they put me on the phone to a booking manager in split. Who threatened to call the police if I kept complaining.. this guy is aggressive. I should point out we are a 62 year old couple and have been to Trogir and Croatia. before.Trogir is lovely...just avoid this kip. Info Villa Paula, General Manager at Villa Paula, responded to this review Dear Sir,Your problem is, you and your wife arrived visibly intoxicated, you were not admitted to the Hotel due to your agreement at check-in, so that our guests could have peace from you and enjoy their Annual Vacation, you also did not even go to the room and went to take pictures of the women's children below. shorts, a 4-year-old child and you, 62 years old. Some of them were on a bench by the pool, while the child was in the pool with his parents. Very fragrant of you. I was kicked out and reported to the Police. You can also be ashamed to write something like this, for us you were not a guest that we, like the other guests, should have to suffer and watch your unpleasant drunken rantings and bullying. And no one like you will be able to stay in our facility, we protect our cultural guests, their families, children, because they are on annual vacation. Neither they nor we need aggressive alcoholics who get off the plane and get into the Taxi visibly drunk with a large amount of alcohol in their blood.Work on your problem yourself or seek professional help.

Excellent location, comfortable and so friendly.

Stayed for a weeks walking holiday and wish we had booked for longer. Right from making the booking Ivana and Andrelina were in contact with us regarding our requirements. Arranged our airport transfers and provided everything in the room that we asked for. The room was small but comfortable with a nice sunny balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is small but excellent for cooling off after a day walking in the very picturesque area. The breakfast is an awesome selection served buffet style, both hot and cold. Bars and eating places are only a short walk away at Cocacabana beach, Leonardos was recommended to us by Ivana and it was great value, large portions and a good selection of local dishes. Transport links are good with the airport 15 minutes away by taxi and the local bus to Trogir passes the villa although not very often. Again good advice given by Ivana who recommended BOLT taxi app where taxis are cheap and nearly always available almost immediately. Ivana and her lovely ladies provided us with a holiday we will not forget for a long time. The Tripadvisor site shows that a restaurant is available but this is not true. However with so many available in the area this is not a problem.

A hidden gem on Ciovo Island

This place is wonderful, peaceful, spotless clean and gives a warm family feeling. The nicest host and staff that do the little extra. The breakfast is the best I've ever had in Croatia and this is my 12th time here. The pool area is nice. My kids had a nice time. Big spacious apartment with a big terace. I am happy I choose this place.

Good place for a short stay

    rating23 Oct 2019

We stayed in this place offseason with a group for 3 nights. The hotel is clean, well maintained. Some of the amenities are a bit worn out, especially the bathroom. The shower did not have a place to put the shampoo and was leaking. Two more points for critique - the sound isolation is almost non-existing and so was wifi, especially in the rooms. Wifi should be improved heavily. Breakfast was good, with vegetables, various cheese and meat selections, muffins and some other sweets. The drawback with a big group - if you come late, especially the sweet stuff might be gone already. Otherwise - the location is good, there is a road down to the beach for swimming and the promenade is far away. Not sure about prices thou.
