Location

This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the centre of the small town of Supetar, which forms a crescent around the harbour. Colourful roughcast houses of all eras line the promenade and the narrow alleyways. Mainly in high season, the town offers numerous shops, bars, clubs, and the galleries of local artists who have made a name for themselves on the island. The public shingle beach can be found around 70 m from the hotel building.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 419 rooms located in two 3-storey buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected. The resort offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 3 conference rooms.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Some rooms include a balcony. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a mini fridge. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer is also provided. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can strike a healthy balance between exercise and relaxation in the indoor pool or in one of the 4 outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area is heated in part and also includes 3 children's pools. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example beach volleyball, crazy golf, archery and fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking and tennis. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, banana boat rides, snorkelling and diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, darts, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Do NOT go - hidden charges only one restaurant and one pool you can use without extra payments when all inclusive ! Not by the beach it is near beach which you have to pay to use as the all inclusive is not included - Flys and very strange food choices only one restaurant you use unless you want to pay to go elsewhere (even when all inclusive) - not tea and coffee water soft drink in room and no room service , you have to pay 20 euro per person for pool towel and pay a daily rate for use of room safe ………. I could go on but I paid for a 4* all inclusive don’t waste your money - have complained

    We had a lovely holiday in Croatia , it is such a beautiful country and we enjoyed trips to the Krka Waterfalls and Bol whilst we were there. The hotel was a little disappointing but we still enjoyed our time there.Pros :Fantastic location - Supetar is a beautiful port just a 10–15 minute walk along the promenade, it has a variety of shops/stalls and cafes overlooking the harbour. The hotel ice‑cream bar is excellent, there are several really nice pools, and the room air‑con was quiet and effective. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping was regular. Entertainment (especially the White Party and live music) was great fun despite very limited English interaction, and the food offered plenty of variety with clear labels. There is use of the gym (deposit required) and tennis courts. Staff were accommodating when issues were raised, and a beautiful beach is close by.Cons :The Junior Suite didn’t feel worth the extra cost - limited space and storage, dated bathroom, basic balcony with no light. The double room allocated (for the rest of our party), was tiny with a poor balcony, but a much better double room was assigned after complaining. There were quite a few extras to pay for (room safe, a couple of the pools, coffee machines for decent coffee, proper cocktails). Mama Rosie’s Kitchen was confusing as Kaktus guests can’t use it for meals, only snack times, despite the photos in the hotel description. Staff were polite but not over friendly, there was no welcome information on arrival or farewell at checkout, and very limited English in the evening entertainment.Overall, not quite the 4‑star all‑inclusive experience we expected, but the location and the beauty of Croatia made the holiday wonderful in so many ways.     Just returned from a week at Waterman Kaktus.I must start by saying the rooms are well decorated and airy and pleasant but I have several complaints about the hotel.This is an all inclusive package but not all inclusive. For a start the hotel charges extra for everything - machine coffee, sun loungers, use of certain pools, beach towels, safe. Only a small number of pools are included in the all inclusive, a number of which would be better suited at a 2 star in Benidorm. Food in only one restaurant is included, covered in flies, repetitive, stale. The all inclusive drink menu is very limited and watered down. The snack bar opens for a few hours a day and is not great at all.I had two rooms, mine was for 3 people. The extra bed was not made up on arrival and I was given a room with a balcony overlooking the road that barely fit 2 people. I complained to Helena at reception who tutted and shrugged her shoulders and told me no more rooms were available (although booking.com showed plenty) and that if I wanted to move i would have to pay €40 cleaning charge - even though they put me in a room not fit for 3 people. My friend had a double room with a sea view and balcony double the size of mine (neither of us paid for anything different). I complained to the tui rep who was told the same - eventually tui agreed to pay the cleaning charge and the second room was much better - although initially the bathroom absolutely stunk of sewers until I doused it in bleach I bought from the supermarket. The room after that was fine.Rooms are not cleaned after night one and on the last day. A room clean seems to consist of making the bed and nothing more.On one of the days we were moved from one of the small pools after being told a sun lounger was €10 each per day. Let me tell you this was a small pool, not exclusive and absolutely not worth paying for. The indoor pool is €3 each per day as well. The pools that are included are either overcrowded or dirty or too deep for any child to go in. Sun loungers at the hotel beach are also payable.The area is lovely, 10-15mins walk from the town and the island of Brac itself is beautiful. Taxis are extortionate- we paid €100 for a 20min return trip to a beach - the beach itself was beautiful but we ended up hiring a car from Supetar to drive to Zlatni Rat beach in Bol - highly recommend Bol - absolutely stunning place. Just to be clear I have absolutely no issue with paying for things - I have an issue with being ripped off and missold something or taken advantage of - none of this review is about having to pay extras - i expected an all inclusive resort and what I got was far from that. I felt everything i would normally expect was extra and everytime i asked for something it was yea but you have to pay. Ice cream for example, is available at one ice cream bar, for 3hrs per day and closed on a Sunday. The snack bar is barely open, there are 2 outdoor bars. There is no iron available- instead you can pay for a laundry service.Another issue- all the stops seem to be pulled out on a sunday which I assume seems to be the common changeover day. Entertainment team are around, music at the pools, live music in the evening, restaurant clean with no flies, the team make an effort - if everyday was like we found Sunday to be I'd have less to complain about - but it just shows they can do it, and choose not to the other 6 days of the week.Most guests are French, the entertainment is in French, entertainment team are a complete other ballgame. Maybe its my British sense of humour but the variety show we watched was diabolical but yet all the French adults were screaming and cheering like they were watching the world's best entertainment team- it was mediocre at best and consisted of grown adults swapping clothes in French.Besides all of that we actually had a wonderful holiday but 90% of that was down to the sunshine and company - the hotel is fine but its honestly 3* at best and is absolutely not all inclusive - if you go with low expectations you'll be sure to have a great time but I absolutely would not return to this hotel. I would 100% however return to Brac.     Nice Hotel shame about location.

    Hotel is lovely lovely decor. Food is not great on the all inclusive, cold, only caters realty for europeans not British. Ate out most evenings as got fed up with the same thing.Staff are nice and friendly. As for where this is located there isn't much to do. Is really quiet in May. Imagine it will be alot livelier soon.Done it once, wouldn't go again.     Just returned from a week Hotel is clean and good location Not fully open so very limited and had one night with singer and a quiz all week Not fully all inclusive Safe £1.50 a day beech towels £20 a week coffee machine charge 2 euro. Or flask coffee is free Drinks at bar very poor unless you pay Flat coke and poor extra fizzy beer and cheap spirits Food did change but basic Meet balls , stew , bolognaise all very very salty and barely warm Going to stick to bed and breakfast Asif is a Good bar man that works hard and makes a good cocktail if you buy one.
