    Nice hotel but awful cold food!

    The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable although storage for a week tight. There was a lot of room to room noise. Pool area nice but pool needs upgrading. Main problem was the resturant which was more like a canteen. Very busy and food lukewarm or cold. Same selection all week. Also lack of labels in food.

    We stayed for 1 night the staff are great very friendly and helpful our room was lovely also and they found a kettle for me !The let down is the breakfast which was not great to be honest.Very close to the beach which is great though ! Lovely pool.

    I loved my stay here! I stayed for 4 days, wanting somewhere to relax abs unwind and explore zadar and some of the islands. I arranged my booking late - as a walk in - and they were very accommodating and helpful. The room is on the small side but very very comfortable and clean and has anything you need. I had a great view of the sea and pool. Breakfast is a buffet that is substantial and caters to all. The pool is fantastic for relaxing but the hotel is also in a great location - just on the shoreline and close to a number of beaches and only a. 12 minute walk to town. There is a store round the corner, some great restaurants too very close by. The staff here are fantastic - really lovely and prompt. I can’t fault this place and will be back next year for a longer stay and a longer trip in Croatia.

    Disappointed with quality of food especially evening meals , overcooked, not very hot and very repetitive. Not sure everything was fresh. Rooms adequate otherwise hotel was clean staff helpful.

    Kolovare Hotel is located near the historical sights of the ancient city of Zadar, we check in around 6pm.Quite a small hotel, in fact over the 8 hotels we stayed in our Balkan Trip. No chairs, complimentary water bottle, nor kettle!. Luckily we brought our own kettle to preop some hot water, its early dec winter starting...Only good thing is that there have 2 racks of heater slots that is working, good for simple laundry.There is a shopping mall nearby where we walked over 10+ mins to do some simple buys at Interspar.The hotel has a modern and original architectural structure adapted to the Mediterranean area and it has quite modern setup. Facilities/Amenities include a la carte restaurant, a bar, hair salon, massage parlor, rent-a-car, an outdoor swimming pool for children and adults.We had a dinner & morning Breakfast here and both the spread was ok. Good meat & vege choices, and drinks too.An average stray for us.
