Not happy with our stay. Wish I had taken photos.

    rating20 Nov 2025

Location - greatAtmosphere of the hotel - lobby poor - no one there to greet you. Rooms - that depends on if you get the room you were told you would get or another one that was not great. The first room - Casablanca - had one window that open from the ceiling down. I had to find a high stool to close it and then couldn't reach it again to open it. The bathroom floor had stains on it. We were given another room on the second floor for our second night. Very nice. Why were not put there for both nights - I never got an answer. Value - It depends on what room you get!Cleanliness - The lobby - the first thing you was messy. The area between there and the first room was full of chairs and tables, old plants and mop, brooms and pails. The first room was okay in part but there odd stains on the bathroom floor. Noise Level - fine for the most part. Service - poor. There was no one there to greet us. We did not know that they had sent a message so we had to call them and try to work through things. The man I talked to was less than helpful when I asked about the internet password and he told me it was “on the desk”. It was not on the room desk and apparently he meant on the desk in the lobby. Amenities - there was bottled water in the rooms.

    No toilet paper

    rating29 Aug 2024

This “hotel” has no services AT ALL. We ran out of toilet paper and there was no one around to help us. We called and texted our contact for the hotel and she was not available. We received a call back from an answering service. The lady we spoke to was very nice and helpful. She called the owner of the palazzo and got instructions from him as to where we could find extra rolls. He did not have the decency to call us directly. His instructions were that we should look for a door behind the elevator, walk a little way and that there was a door we could open with our room key and that the mother load of toilet paper could be found there. We tried that but our key didn’t work. We looked everywhere. No toilet paper. I then called the 2 numbers we had for the hotel and of course no one answered. Do not stay here if you expect hotel services. This place does not even provide the most basic of items of human needs.

    Super-Kitsch: a very doubtful proposition

    rating14 Sept 2022

Breathtaking array of gold leaf kitsch decoration characterises this tiny property which consists of five rooms. There is no reception You have to phone and if and when they answer, they will send someone round. Who then turns out to be charming. Avoid the basement room which has no window. Rooms on upper floors are ok. Don't think of sleeping after 6 a.m. when the super noisy street cleaning and rubbish collection kicks in. And the mattresses are not great either. Some rooms' hot water didn't work. The place is not too clean either. And it's expensive for what it is.

    Creepy hotel in Zadar

    rating06 Jul 2022

The hotel announced the reception 24/7 but that’s not true. The hotel was looked when we arrived and we needed to do several calls to find the owner. Finally she gave us the code to open the hotel. Our room was open and the key on the table. Very creepy hotel, no staff only cameras everywhere. No any breakfast possible.

    Excellent location and interior

    rating19 Apr 2022

I highly recommend this hotel.Location is great from parking as well as sightseeing perspective. There is paid parking near the gate close to which it's located. So easy to drag your bags in. Very close to the town center. There is a. Nice bakery and coffee place right next to it.The lady at the reception Branca is wonderful and provides great service. Her cappuccinos were very nice. The room is very comfortable. The beds and linens are of good quality. The bathroom is clean and toiletries are good. They have a lift which is a bonus.
