Ideal for a couple or family

    rating06 Aug 2023

[room superior, sea view]Service - hotel personel and the owners are extremely nice, always very helpful and smiling. Rooms - very nice and comfy rooms, cleaned and everything exchanged almost every day, all needed equipment, capacious wardrobes, additional towels (pool/beach) can be rent.Food - 100 of 10, especially dinners which are really a star! Big portions, dinner menu known in the morning and free of charge replacement of food for children. Except breakfast, drinks to be extra paid.Pools (2) - 1st bigger, covered for adults has a cold water and is not visited frequently. 2nd - open, very nice with warm water (app. 23-24 C degrees), surrounded with loungers with soft pillows. It's quite deep (app. 1,55 m).Parking - free, big enough.Location - very close to the airport, Zadar city and many nice beaches. In my opinion an ideal location. To have it really perfect - a bootle of water to be left in a room (as for standard hotels) and the room service should come a bit later (sometimes knocking at 7.30 AM!) ;-)

    BAD

    rating14 Sept 2019

I do NOT recommend this.If you want bad sleep and no privacy be my guest. The people have not the least amount of respect here(including the organisation). The walls are made of thin paper and you can hear a fart from 5 rooms away. You will be woken up at 7am and sleep at 2am cause nobody has the least respect for their neighbours here. When you complain they just say "ah maybe they are gone, but not my problem just close ur eyes"Also the staff of the organisation do not respect your privacy. They will make stuff up and just enter your room without your approval or knowledge. They gave us the wrong apartment so they just moved all our stuff to another room, while we were gone. When we said we did not really find this ok, they said this "yes well its not our problem, also i couldnt contact u" and get annoyed and mad. Then they make up a lie that we didnt close our room, so when something was stolen they werent responsible.Im actually shocked from the behaviour and mentality here. I DO NOT RECOMMENDEdit: i feel like i should add this, i wouldnt write this bad review if it werent for the atitude of the staff, If they had said and reacted in a normal way i wouldnt care or write this review. When we said we did not find it ok that they moved all our stuff without our knowledge or approval, they react in a mad manner and get super defensive, also throwing lies to protect your own mess/faults is not done.the next day when we got back, they enterd our room again but forgot to put off the lights.. not so smart. So be warned and when you do book here be prepared to have no privacy.EDIT 2: they also dont mention that the parking costs extra , but they mention it when you check out.And when u pay they dont give proper change, and give u a kg of small changeEDIT 3: the breakfast is cold, including the coffee and the orange juice is 1L water with 1 drop of real juice. Overall dont judge a book by its cover, the building might be new but thats the only positive thing i can say about my stay.Bad experience overall Customer service 0/10(Besides i just checked the other reviews, and they deny every bad review which says enough about the mentality. Be warned)

    Vey dissapointed Villa Plat

    rating03 Jun 2019

Villa Plat was looking OK on the reviews. But the reality is far from what's described by (some) writers. Either there reviews are fake or I was unlucky. The pool was in restoration, so no access. The room was dirty and even if they claim (and ask money for, 3.5 euros per day) to clean the room daily, this wasn't done. The cost of airport transfer was initially to 30 euros but they asked me to pay 45 euros. Come on;.. 45 euros in ZADAR... for that price you get a Rolls Royce and a chauffeur in Croatia. Same with dinner which was annouced 20 euros while 25 euros was on the invoice.

    STAY AWAY from this place

    rating01 Jun 2019

The owner's only business is to get money from the guests. Lying on the price for airport transfer. Asking for daily cleaning fees of the room while he doesn't do anything. The swimming pool was in work so unavailable. We had no warm water for two days. They claim to rent bikes while they say they are not available. It is dirty everywhere.

    Enjoyable stay

    rating22 Jul 2018

Our holiday began with David, the owner, meeting us at the airport. The journey to Villa Plat is about 25 minutes and we were pleased with our ground floor, one bedroom apartment which was plenty big enough for the 3 of us.The pool area is bright and clean and never seemed to be busy, in fact we had a fair bit of time when we had the pool to ourselves. The beach with beautiful clear water is literally just down the road and the Santorini bar provides food and drinks. There is very little else in the area. A tiny supermarket is about 15 minutes away and the Pineta restaurant is about the same distance away but up the hill.-Lovely food and friendly staff. Most guests seemed to have cars to get about but we didn't and instead hired some bikes from reception. Best thing we did! Was such fun to ride along the coast roads and take a look around. We rode along to Petracane, Zadon and Nin. (Lovely town) Also through Dicklo to Zadar.David took us to Plitvice lakes ( a must!) and was our guide for the day which was brilliant as he knows the best route to take for the time you have there. This is a family run hotel and they provide a plentiful breakfast with a wide choice of things to keep you going through the day. We also ate there a couple of times in the evening which was very tasty.David was also happy to be our taxi in to Zadar on a few occasions. All in all a very pleasant stay.
