    Wonderful stay and staff are very professional and helpful. The room very clean and cleaned daily. We had the breakfast package which was very and worth it if you eat breakfast.

    This hotel is an elegant, opulent historic hotel. But if you have any kind of mobility issues avoid it. Throughout the hotel there are steps and stairs without railings and some are not clearly visible. The accessible rooms are not really at all. There are handrails around a toilet that is very low, like a squatty potty, and sloped forward at an odd angle. The shower is a small corner with a shower curtain and small seat. The seat in relation to the hand held shower is at an odd angle and almost impossible to use. There is no place to put toiletries . The shower does not contain the water so the marble floors are dangerously slippery. Every door has a risen jamb presenting numerous tripping hazards and making wheelchair access nearly impossible. To get from the hotel lobby to one restaurant Le Bistro a person with mobility issues must exit the hotel, go down a steep and busy driveway, navigate a cobblestone walk and use the street entrance. A nightmare!

    I was a UN Diplomat in former Yugoslavia from 1994 to 2000. When in Zagreb, it was a must to visit Bistro to have their signature dish " Strukli" and fares from sea food. It is amazing that the taste in 1994 and now in 2026 has not changed including the warm service of Ivan , Alexandra and now manager Stejphan.

    There is not much I can add. Esplanade Zagreb lives up to the photos that you see. The staff is super friendly, empathetic, and will do what they can to make your stay perfect. The restaurant, bar, and environment are top shelf. Truly a luxury experience. Will definitely stay here whenever I come to Zagreb.

    I went with high expectations. I wanted to check out the hotel as to possibly stay during Christmas market time. I will not stay again. My experience was not great. It seemed like multiple tour groups were checking in and out as I both arrived and left. I had to wait for my room when I arrived at 3:15. I was just asked to wait, no complimentary beverage which would have been nice at such a fancy place. When it was time for me to get my car to leave I had to wait again due to the amount of customers from the tour groups leaving. I asked if this is normal and they said during peak times yes. So, beware. I did not have an intimate experience.
