5/5 if you ask me! Basically hotel is great from A to Z, nothing, really nothing to complain, but the best part is hotel staff- they are very kind, professional and friendly! I visited hotel 2 times in period of 10 months, and can not wait to return again.

Before going, I read the reviews, and I’m not sure if it was trolling or if people just expect the impossible from hotels… But my impression is that the hotel is great for the price you pay. We booked the cheapest classic room, which didn’t have a balcony and had a rather small bathroom. However, we only used the room for sleeping, so it didn’t matter to us. Otherwise, the room was clean and we had no issues. If you want more luxurious accommodation, you can choose a premium room, a room in the new family section, or in the glamping camp.The food for breakfast and dinner was the typical selection for a four-star hotel catering to mass tourism, and everyone can find something for themselves. There were quite a few crowds during meals, partly due to the fact that some rude guests clearly didn’t know how to behave in a hotel.The animation for children was excellent, and hotel guests, in addition to all the other pools, can also use the relax zone intended only for hotel guests — although no one actually checks. The sauna area is large, but I personally didn’t like the strict requirement to be completely naked, even in the jacuzzi, so I left. The pool complex is outstanding, although there were some misbehaving children.

Short, but great holidays

After nearly 3 months we decided to go to Terme Tuhelj again. My husband advised to choose a suite in Hotel Classic (i.e. “old” part). Upon entering the suite, we were amazed: a large living room, balcony, then a spacious bedroom, and – to our great surprise – another bathroom! And two TV sets! All renovated, clean, with lots of space for clothes and various things. Also, the pool area is excellent. We had luck with weather, so I enjoyed sunbathing (only the outdoor pools are too cold for us). The only remark from my side is that the indoor swimming pool should have one more step-ladder on the opposite side (as it was before renovation). And, after many years my little wish was fulfilled: I enjoyed bathing in the old pools near the hotel. They are open on weekends, there is a small bar, good showers, enough sunbeds and parasols, and all with a retro touch. Recommended!The food was also excellent, good variety (fish every day).The staff is very friendly and polite. Although it does not concern us directly, we noticed many activities for kids – and the mascot Tuhi is soo cute.This was out 18th visit, since 2004, and we are definitely planning to come again.

Neat hotel, needs a lot of improvement

The hotel is slightly above average, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Uncomfortable beds, just horrible. We stayed at the family appartment which was quite spacious, neat and clean, although we missed a drying rack for wet towels and bathing suits.Food was really average, pasta, rice, no imagination. Selection of meat was slighty better, freshly done. Soups bellow average. Some kids spaces were fun (green net, soft space), but I would recommend it for the kids from 1-8, teenagers were bored.Inside pools horrible, dirty water and our son got diarrhea and he vomited on the last day.Outside pools incredibly overcrowded, especially on Sunday. It was beyond real. Just horrible. Other days slightly better.Staff incredibly polite, fun and friendly. Overall, neat and nice hotel, needs a lot of improvement.

strange experience

Hi, I expected much more, terrible swimming pool inside, outside pool horrible, crowd incredible, as a hotel guest you do not get deck chair outside, too many external guest and all get chair outside before you as hotel guest. Food poor, only good what I can say is for kids, very well for kids inside of hotel. Green net inside is very good for kids, smart idea. We did not stay to the end we went home prematurely, because we did not want to pay money for that what are they offering.
