Location

This hotel lies in one of the best tourist and commercial development centres in the city. It is just 5 minutes to the convention centre and around 1 km to the city centre where an array of bars, restaurants and shopping venues are to be found. A selection of sights are also situated within 1 km of the hotel, such as the Parque Museo de la Venta and the Pemex administrative centre. Yumká Park and the zoological safari are 16 km from the hotel and it is roughly 18 km to Capitan Carlos Rovirosa airport.

Facility

4 junior suites, 5 suites, 18 single rooms and 23 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Staffed 24 hours a day, the reception desk provides a smooth check-in/check-out service. Amenities include a cloakroom, a safe and a currency exchange service.     No hot water, the staff makes promises like "they are working on it" when they know nothing is getting fixed. The worst experience.

    View on the seafront, the excellent room, also tranquility and great pool, I had a very good experience of this hotel, especially economic

    Worst place I have ever stayed at, and my dress “disappeared” !

    The staff at the counter was extremely rude since our check-in time. Lea, the receptionist was very impatient and rude when we got there, and because we got there early, we had to leave our luggage at the storage. One of my hand bags was open and I placed a dress there before leaving the hotel; when we got back at night, we picked up our luggage and surprisingly the dress was not there anymore !!! Nobody helped, we spoke to about 5 different people from the staff, they didnt even communicate among themselves as they said they would...And not only that - the hotel ceiling had mold, the water flow was extremely weak and the electricity didnt work in the room (the power plug nor the hair drier !!! ) TERRIBLE, terrible stay ! Expensive on top of that...and robbery is a very serious thing for a hotel !!!

    Our travel group was placed here at the last minute - a change from the Copacabana next door, mandated by the travel agency in Cuba. No reason given, but when both are government owned, it probably makes no difference.My room was clean. Bed linens were worn but clean; the bathroom was cleaned daily. It was good that I'd packed toilet paper, as for 2 days, there was none. Our guide had mentioned that paper should go into the waste can, and it was emptied daily. A long hair on the floor, though, (definitely not mine) stayed there for a couple of days. the main problem was the freezing-cold a.c. that couldn't be regulated. I finally turned it off completely. And lukewarm showers - some others in our group occasionally got hot water, but my room never did.We had a daily breakfast, which offered the meats and cheese that German tourists seem to require, and hot dishes that were generic. Yogurt and granola were fine; lots of juices; a nice clean-up crew.I wouldn't stay here by choice, but it was a slice of how Cuba works.

    Awful! Worts hotel ever visit! Disgusting! The food is terrible! The personal is rude ! The rooms are smelly ! Nobody will help you! Very expensive to take a cab to go to downtown! It doesn’t have anything good about it!
