Location

This beach hotel is ideal for all those seeking to combine a relaxing holiday in the resort of Santa Maria with the many offerings of the Cuban capital, which lies around 30 minutes away. Havana airport is approximately 45 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 92 rooms, including 87 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A safe, a currency exchange service, a playroom, medical assistance, a conference room and a theatre hall are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Extra beds can be requested.     This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I get that this is Cuba and I would make exceptions. But the main areas are pretty dirty, it's smokey. The food is awful. No water available just weird pineapple drink. Internet did not work, pretty much just beer and low end rum. I used it as a base for Havana. Beach was fantastic.

    Great location, on the beach. Easy bus ride to Havana. If you are a foodie, Cuba is not for you, also if you can't eat pork as sometimes that is all there is. If you can eat pork, rice, fish and plenty of fresh fruit, you'll be fine. There are power cuts and it's no frills. Special shout out to Ramon in the restaurant and Delvis at the front desk for superb service, all the other staff were also great and went above and beyond to make our stay great.

    This hotel is probably the worst I have ever seen! The only good thing about this hotel is the location and it is close to the beach. Other than that, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

    This place is stuck in the 1970s, with accommodations that look like hospital rooms, staff who are desperately unhappy to work there and food that is scary to eat. It is not worth the beach view to be so far away from the city. Go anywhere else to stay in Havana.

    Worst vacation ever! My wife and I stayed at Hotel Atlantico in November 2023; we booked with Sunwing. During our stay I had a slip and fall accident on a wet floor in the main floor washroom off the lobby. I had a serious head injury and there was little assistance available. It took forever to find transportation to go to a medical clinic. Two hours passed before I received treatment. The hotel was completely unprepared to handle emergencies. Some staff spoke English, the internet was useless, food choices limited. Never again. Save your money - if you want to see Havana go there. If you want the beach try Varedero.
