Here you do not live any experience that pity that we are like this after paying so much money and that they do not attend to you as

The reservation by the pool is very bad attention. The reservation costs 3000 quota per PAX to consume 2000 cup. Inside the consumption comes a lunch and two can liquids. Upon arrival we were given the option to buy a beer thermos and leave the beers from cans that entered consumption for later. When I went to order the beers I'm told by the shop assistants that it was over, that the captain decided to give beer dispensed instead of the cans which I don't agree with because that's not what I pay for consumption. After a while, they deliver canned beer to another table. So was there or not??. That's customer maltreatment. I was offended, humiliated, unhappy. The Villa Panamericano hotel has no quality and they have poor planning in their work. Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

    noisy and

Dont expect to sleep there. Extremely noisy at night because of the discotheque in the hotel, and shouting people in the loby all the night. Everything is getting old in this hotel. Small rooms without a proper table and chair. Reception does not deliver, any problem gets an answer such as "it's not my fault", "not my responsibility", "not the working time of the responsible"... etc. So you can spent 18 hours without water ion the hotel, and not even a water bucket will be given to you. Not to be recommended at all. A good point is room service.

    Not the best location

We were desperate, the Hotel Montehabana (Occidental) gave our pre-paid room away, after AeroMexico cancelled our flight and we were two days late. This hotel is however, of great value, the rooms are spacious, clean, mini apartment. The clientle is bascially Cubano, because of the price (inexpensive). The surrounds are below average, not the kind of place for tourists. The hotel was fully booked, but reception was sympathetic to our situation and made every effort to secure us a room for 5 nights. We are greatful to them and will always remember the sincere, kind and genuine assistance.

offered drugs and women in hotel lobby and never felt safe

I wouldn't personally stay here again. Never felt safe, the hotel just seemed to let anyone and everyone into the lobby area and i slept with my laptop in my bed. That's how bad it was.

My boyfriend, a boxing fanatic went to Cuba to train so it was a great place for him because a lot of international sporting teams stay there for months to train and he just joined in with them.Stay there with an open mind and don't expect too much, the rooms are clean but small. Every room has a small balcony. The pool is great, a lot of locals go there. They're always pumping out really loud music, but it can still be relaxing. Occasionally, there's no water, they don't tell you in advance, you just have to deal with it but it comes back pretty soon. We payed $44CUC/night and it includes breakfast, the breakfast is not great and it's pretty much the same everyday. The female receptionists are very nice and friendly and always happy to help. There are quite a few hookers around but i think most hotels in Havana have them.Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. It's only 15min bus or taxi ride away from Havana and the air is much cleaner in Cojimar. There are small shops, restaurants, post office, etc in Cojimar so there's no need to go out to Havana if you don't want to.Don't expect too much and you'll be right!
