Location

The hotel is located in the west of Havana, Cuba, in the modern and popular Miramar residential area, home to foreign embassies, business community, restaurants, the Convention Centre and many other entertainment places. It is around 20 minutes from the international airport, 15 minutes' drive to the city's historical centre, and it is close to the elegant 5th Avenue.

Facility

The hotel has 6 suites, 102 single rooms and 78 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area.

    Quiet Hotel in Miramar Neighborhood

    Quiet hotel where I had good nights of sleep. It overlooks a park so that creates a quiet retreat atmosphere. Really enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet the 1st 2 days we stayed. Our tour group traveled to Caribbean coast, then returned to the Valentin for our last 2 nights. Breakfast buffet was not available for the second stay, instead of the large buffet room, we were told to go to the restaurant. Made to order eggs were available as well as cold cuts, bread, cereals, cheese and fruit. I suspect due to hotel not being full this part of our stay. The pool area was very nice and we spent time lounging by the pool as well as swimming. Note that hotel is showing its age in that not everything works(like tub drain stopper in our 1st stay, but for 2nd stay our room's tub drain stopper did work which was great since I was craving a bathtub soak).

    I’ve been staying in Havana in multiple times and in this occasion I decided to give it a try to this city hotel. I must admit that my stay was much better than expected, hotel was very clean, spacious, they also offer additional services like a nice gym. Personal was very friendly and helpful, specially their manager Jose Ramon who kindly took care of us. Hotel location is in a good residential neighborhood, very safe.

    What an amazing hotel! Staff is superb! Food is delicious. The beach is beyond amazing! I highly recommend this resort! They honestly treat you like family here! Tony Ross is excellent for customer service! And Tiger is the best bartender I have ever seen!

    During my stay in Cuba I had the opportunity to visit the Gran Muthu Almirante Hotel. The truth is I had an excellent vacation there with my family. The beach clean and organized. I loved all the entertainment activities. Enjoyed the pool and ping pong tournaments in the game room. Thanks to the fantastic animation team. Special thanks to animators Yoandry and Richard for their professionalism. Enjoyed the pina colada that bartender Herme offered at the bar. See you next time.

    It has been a wonderful stay. The hotel is very nice and clean. Large and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and good service.An impeccable swimming pool. A very peaceful place.The Manager always very helpful. I have felt very well and I will repeat the visit!!
