  Amazing experience we enjoyed the beach and the hotel amenities. The Custumer services were exceptional and everything about the hotel food , pool bars , reception facilities were excellent. We loved it and definitely we will visit again soon. 100% recommend this hotel for me is a best hotel now in varadero cuba.

  Outstanding Stay at Hotel Las Américas, Varadero ??????I had a fantastic 9-day stay at Hotel Las Américas in Varadero, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful holiday from beginning to end.The hotel itself is beautiful, surrounded by coconut palms, palm trees and lush exotic plants. The tropical gardens give the whole resort a relaxing Caribbean atmosphere and make you feel like you are truly in paradise. ??????What really made the stay special was the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, from the waiters and chefs to reception and all the other staff throughout the hotel. A special thank you to Margarita and Tity, the hotel activity animators, who were always full of energy and made sure there was plenty of fun and entertainment.The beach is absolutely beautiful. The warm, tepid water and turquoise ocean, together with the lovely sandy beach, make this a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for a true Caribbean beach holiday. ?????The food was great, with plenty to enjoy, and the entertainment was excellent. There were lots of activities during the day, dancing and music every night, and even entertainment in the dining room, which created a lovely atmosphere.And the price was unbelievable — 9 days all-inclusive for around $1,000! For everything included, that is fantastic value for money.I highly recommend Hotel Las Américas, Varadero to anyone who loves beautiful sandy beaches, turquoise water, tropical surroundings, good food, entertainment and, most importantly, wonderful people.A huge thank you to all the staff at Hotel Las Américas for making my holiday such a lovely and memorable experience. ??????I will definitely be back! ??????   Reality hits tourism, Las Americas still standing

  Probably the best option for foreigners , to stay in Varadero. Unfortunately, the hotel suffered a lot from the poor economic conditions. Not everything is open ,as tourists are in limited numbers (...mostly Cubans from Havana and Florida). At the time of my stay, it was only 4 or 5 Canadian visitors.The problems are : the fligth connections .Got to fly in( if Canadian) ,from Florida, Mexico or Panama. The only flight I found ,directly to Varadero was from Florida. Early morning, so you got to fly in night before from Toronto. Extra expenses...You can fly to Habana airport, but connection are hit and miss,bus is unreliable and taxis will charge you whatever they want. Best price is 200 $ 1 way also it's a long drive , as you have tons of police on the roads.The worst for me was the unbearable Mosquitoes...government don't spray the Peninsula anymore and hotels struggle with the lack of gasoline. Prices of gasoline on black market are hitting 8 US $ per liter.The beaches are phenomenal and are almost empty.The service was good,considering the situation. Meals and drinks are limited but good.Hotel was clean and was sad to see ,all the familiar faces suffer under the Situation. Employees don't have no transportation, so had to work in 2-3 day shifts, while sleeping in hotel.Varadero golf course, also empty...No more golfers from Las Americas. The condition of the course, was surprisingly very good,better then the years before.So conclusion is, if you still going to travel to Varadero, choose Las Americas.Travel time to Varadero from Toronto 22 hours with layover in Miami.From Varadeto to Toronto 9 hours .Only my flights: all in 1500 $ per person.Hotel is now 75 US $ a night per person.And God help , if you have a medical emergency...
