  CATFISH !!! THIS HOLE IN THE WALL IS A DUMP

  I WARN ALL potential customers!!! That think they are getting a good deal at a nice looking place, please take your money elsewhere!!! First and foremost it is a complete CATFISH , PICTURES ARE ENHANCED AND PHOTOSHOPPED. Our room did not look like the pictures and this place is a dump except for the pool.They do not pride themselves on customer service at all EXCEPT one special security guard named Norbit. He was funny, nice and cool. The block that this dump is located on has nothing but abandoned properties except this dump, the driveway to enter is only big enough for one car at a time to pass in or out. They don't have a lobby they have a desk that closes at 10pm God forbid you have an issue or problem after that time. Upon entering our room there were at least 10 visible mosquitoes that I had to swat with a magazine that was on the table, we had a king bed with just 2 flat uncomfortable pillows and no comforter just a thin sheet. I understand it's a caribbean island that doesn't get cold but the air conditioner had no in between turn it down the room got hot turn it up it gets to cold fast. The this are like 27inches we changed the channel on the one in the living room and the remote stopped working a day later got fresh batteries and a different universal remote and it still would do absolutely nothing same channel our entire 7 day stay. The one in our bedroom did not work at all we were told the bedroom tv's don't come with cable but will connect to your phone FALSE !!! the tiny outdated tv doesn't pick up any devices and doesn't even pick up wifi so we had no working tv in our bedroom our entire stay. Everytime we needed something from the desk we were told to ask our housekeeper the following morning and they would have it smh extra pillows, washrags, soap for the shower! I go to take a shower the first night and there is only 2 bath towels and 2 large bathmats and no bodywash/soap in the shower unit only shampoo, I go tell the desk we have no soap or washrags and they say the shampoo is the soap and they do not know what a washrag is at all. The shower water barely came close to Luke warm while the sink beside it gets very hot. The parking spots are micro at best, but what's extremely funny is the second night I was a little bit on the line of the parking spot and their security put a note on my windshield saying make sure I park properly. So they go out of thier way to write that note but didn't correct any problems we had at all. My wife wanted a blanket but settled for an extra sheet from the housekeeper and every time they cleaned the room they took it away smh. The air conditioner clearly pushes out a lot of dust their ducts must be loaded with contaminates because I have black shiny luggage and there was a coat of dust everyday on it among other noticeable things aside from my allergies and asthma reved up every single night we returned back to the dump. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE !!   Pretty basic but excellent value. The location is great , the rooms are fine if you are not planning to spend much time in it and everything was fairly clean.   The room we stayed in was an efficiently type and was great, nice balcony but overlooked many dead trees and brush which should be cleaned up by the resort. The pool area is very nice and comfortable but the bar service is very lacking. The food at the bar is not great, the pizza is frozen out of a box I am sure. The bar staff are not friendly and welcoming. I wanted to ask the bartender if she ever smiles, but my other half would have flipped out. If you rent a car, ask for a small car, the parking under the units are so tight and parking is beyond stressful. I had a larger SUV and it was challenging for sure. You have your own spot where we were but if the other car next to you does't move to the extreme side, it is an issue. The cleaning staff was great as well as the reception area. There is one road in and out and and narrow and it is a two way, often stressful. Nice location to walk into town if you are up for it! Bring a blanket for the bed, it has clean sheets and a top sheet but a small blanket like a receiving blanket for a baby. Our TV's did not work the entire time, but we didn't call the desk since I watch most on the computer. We are looking at other options that best suite our needs for the trip in October. It's not a bad place but plan accordingly. Very clean and nice room.   The hotel location is good.
