  Just what the doctor ordered

  23 May 2026

I’ve been coming to Curcauo now for 6 years straight and I have to say this has been the most relaxing time here. Not to say that any of the other places weren’t but this one by far has been the best. It offers all of what we needed and some. The staff on hand were exceptional they were more then happy to assist. I will most differently be returning to stay. Gerardo Gonzalez Soriano, Other at The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort, responded to this review Thank you so much for this magnificent five-star review! Knowing that your stay with us was by far your most relaxing and best experience on the island fills our entire team with immense pride and joy.Delivering exceptional hospitality and exceeding your expectations is our ultimate mission, and our on-hand staff will be deeply touched to know their willingness to assist made such a lasting impression. Inviting & relaxing stay

  07 May 2026

Honestly a great stay but found the lack of room service kind of a bummer. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon with a 7 day trip to Curaçao 🇨🇼 The suite we got was beautiful, the views were stunning and the daily housekeeping was such a treat (especially since it’s not standard practice at a lot of places). The only negatives I would say were the inability to order food to our room, the beach bar not having any snacks or food on offer and the loud music late at night from neighboring Mambo beach. Other than that I honestly can’t complain too much. It was a wonderful stay and we we would definitely come back in the future. Gerardo Gonzalez Soriano, Other at The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort, responded to this review Congratulations on your wedding! Thank you so much for choosing our hotel to celebrate your beautiful 7-day honeymoon in Curaçao and for sharing this wonderful five-star review. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you loved your suite, the stunning views, and that our daily housekeeping team made you feel so well taken care of during such a special milestone. We also truly appreciate your honest and constructive feedback regarding the dining options and room service. As we continuously look for ways to enhance our guest experience, your notes about the beach bar snacks and room amenities are incredibly valuable and have been shared with our management team for future improvements. Regarding the lively atmosphere of neighboring Mambo Beach, while the local nightlife is vibrant, we always want to ensure a restful stay and are happy to assist with quieter room locations for your next visit. Thank you for making us part of your honeymoon memories, and we cannot wait to welcome you back for many more anniversaries to come!

  Wouldn’t visit again.

  08 Apr 2026

Our two reservations were originally directly above/below each other when we checked in. They gave us rooms number and beach towels but said they would contact us on WhatsApp when our rooms were available. We never heard anything. I finally sent a text to WhatsApp at 530pm, didn’t immediately receive a return text so we decided to walk to the resort. When we arrived our rooms were ready but they had changed one of our rooms so we were no longer directly together. Front desk couldn’t explain why they changed it, just showed where our original room was marked thru and we were placed in a different one. This was frustrating since we were traveling with our children, all under the age of 20 in a different country but we understood sometimes things can’t be helped. Also the 2 bedroom suite could’ve fit all of us with no trouble but we were told only 6 to that room and there were 7 of us (one only being 9 years old). So we still had to have 2 separate reservations.Soooooo this is where it gets even worse. The new room was a handicap accessible room with only a shower, no bath tub, while showering the arm rail fell across my face! Not once but twice! My nose is still bruised and swollen. I took a video of how dangerous these handrails are and how they fall by themselves. My 9 year old son was hit along his back when he showered. When my husband went to the front office for a solution they said there was nothing they could do. They found us at dinner later to let us know maintenance could come remove the handicap arms. This was helpful but all of this made us feel as if we were moved to that room because someone else didn’t want it. It felt like a dungeon with little light coming in and our view was the back side of the aquarium tanks where they keep the dolphins, which was just sad to see.We thought it would be a magical trip and maybe somewhere we would want to visit annually. Unfortunately that was not the case. The positives:Security was very nice and helpful. Olas had a great drink selection and food. Olas staff was exceptional! The beach was quiet and gorgeous. The pool bar was convenient and we loved the games left out for everyone’s enjoyment. It’s an easy walk to mambo beach.I thought there would be more activities but it was pretty quiet. At no time did we see any group activities happening. We did see a sign for chess/board games at the pool on Thursday but we weren’t available during that time. You can rent a kayak for $10. We stayed at Lions Dive the week before and they were very accommodating to keeping our kids rooms near us and communicating when our rooms were ready. All the rooms were bright, and had beautiful views. Gerardo Gonzalez Soriano, Other at The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent stay at Royal Sea Aquarium Resort. Please accept our sincere apologies for the challenges you experienced, particularly regarding the room reassignment and the lack of communication upon arrival. We understand how important it is to keep families close together, especially when traveling with children, and we regret the inconvenience this caused. We are especially concerned to hear about the issue with the shower handrails and the injuries you and your son experienced. This is certainly not the standard of safety we strive to maintain. Your feedback has been shared with our management and maintenance teams for immediate investigation and corrective action to ensure this does not happen again. While we’re glad you enjoyed aspects such as our beachfront location, the service at Olas, and the friendliness of our security team, we truly regret that your overall experience did not meet expectations or reflect the memorable vacation you had hoped for. Your comments regarding activities and accommodations have also been noted as we continuously work to improve our guest experience. We appreciate your honest feedback and would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in us in the future.
