Location

This bungalow complex is small and exclusive and enjoys a quiet location in a residential area, within walking distance of excellent restaurants and of Curaçao´s most important business district. By car it takes 5 minutes to the Free Zone, 8 minutes to the town centre, 10 minutes to the closest beach and 20 minutes to the international airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 8 suites, 10 studios, 20 single rooms and 36 double rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the bungalow complex include a safe, a currency exchange service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the complex, including tennis, snorkelling, a gym and a solarium. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, live music and a casino.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch buffet and a dinner à la carte offer plenty of delicious variety. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Nice staff led by a rude manager

    I booked and paid for a room with a king bed, and at no point during booking was I informed that a different bed type could be assigned. My confirmation clearly showed a king bed.Upon arrival, a hotel employee escorted me to the room. When I saw it had two beds, I immediately stated that I had paid for a king bed. He told me none were available that night but advised me to check with the front desk the next day to move rooms.I contacted the hotel, and the manager called me shortly after. She stated there were no king beds available for the duration of my stay and said the employee was incorrect. I requested compensation since I did not receive the room I paid for and explained that a king bed is important for my tall partner. She dismissed this concern and stated the bed size did not matter. She then told me, “If you want to move rooms, you need to move hotels. Feel free to leave.”After ending the call, the manager called me seven additional times, which I did not answer. Additionally, there were rats observed on the property

    Trupial hidden, small and friendly clean hotel with a good mix of local people from curacao and tourists.Friendly helpfull hardworking staff, room 25 was quiet and clean. Short stay of 7 nights. Great pool with poolbar. Love the garden with a lot of birds singing (mini jungle). Great guarded parking, casino (not visited, no noise).Restaurant Rosso with friendly hardworking staff.Nearby Zuikertuintje minimall.This hotel was not my first choice, I prefer seaside hotels, but it was a pleasant stay. Dont tell about this gem to other people :) Discover for yourself

    Last saturday we stayed at Trupial Inn hotel. The room was very nice and everything was almost perfect, but there was just one problem. We couldn't use the hot water. We notified the front desk about our problem and they told us that the maintenace team will handle it. The second day came by and we were told the boiler doesn't work and that was it, we weren't provided with any solutions and had to make do with what we had. Then our last day went by and we had to leave disapointed by the lack of solutions provided.

    Tonight I went for dinner with some friends at Osteria Rosso, due to the rain we moved to the wooden seats under the roof, a security guy was pointing fingers to a friend, from the distance a few times. I went to him and he said it is not allowed to sit on the side of the wooden seat. I told him, then you should come with a chair and explain that is it snot allowed.Basically the disrespectful treat, and the way to approach us was definitely disgusting and bothering.I really do mot know where they find this people. Definitely not coming back.
