Location

The hotel is located in a beautiful, unspoiled, seafront location in Protaras, amongst extensive grass lawns and beautiful gardens which run down to a fine sandy beach with crystal-clear sea waters. Shops, bars and restaurants can all be found within 100 m of the hotel. The famous Fig Tree Bay is about a 15-minute walk away. A local bus service is available to the resort centre of Protaras (1.5 km down the road) or into the nearby bustling resort of Ayia Napa (6 km).

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2025. The hotel has 277 non-smoking rooms, including 31 suites and 204 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, a transfer service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A business centre with projector, fax machine, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available. Those who don't want to neglect day-to-day business can make use of the secretarial service. A conference room is available for conferences, lectures and meetings.

Rooms

Air conditioning (no extra charge) and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony with a partial sea view is included in most units and encourages guests to linger a while. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Guests can also book 8 wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (no extra charge). Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example bocce, basketball and jogging or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, tennis, paragliding and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boating, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, diving and parasailing. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, bowling, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments, aromatherapy, cellulite treatment and a reflexology massage, are offered for a fee. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a café and a lobby bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the restaurant (a buffet, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board, all-inclusive and all-inclusive special. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like live cooking, diet meals, gluten-free meals, children's meals, vegan food and vegetarian dishes, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Organic food and lactose-free food are available upon request and for an additional charge. Baby food (for a fee) provides for little ones' well being. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, international brands are included.

    First, the good news: the hotel itself is beautiful, both in terms of the grounds and furnishings and the rooms, and the housekeeping is fantastic. Thank you so much for our stay. The food was good quality, but not 100% excellent, just good. I was very pleased with the time we were given for breakfast and dinner. I would advise you to first calculate everything and weigh what is better: breakfast, half board, or full board. You definitely shouldn't go all-inclusive. This is not Turkey. You will be disappointed. The portions in the restaurants are very large, and if you plan to be active, then in Protaras, for example, they are larger, but also much cheaper, so it's not always worth eating at the hotel. Now for the downsides: the first is the huge number of children. If you are looking for a quiet holiday without screaming and shrieking everywhere, both in the restaurant and in the lounge area, you definitely shouldn't come here. The second drawback is the bane of all hotels, and this one suffers from it too: the sun loungers are littered with towels from early morning, and the staff does nothing about it. Furthermore, parents ignore the signs indicating this is an adults-only area and spend time there with their children. Otherwise, the hotel and its location are very good.

    This was our 3rd consecutive year staying at Cavo Maris Beach Hotel, and it never disappoints! Everything was absolutely excellent, from the spotless cleanliness throughout the property to the extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. On top of that, the food was varied and delicious every single day. As loyal returning guests, we love this place and highly recommend it to anyone. (A small suggestion for the management: it would be a fantastic loyalty gesture to offer a complimentary late check-out for repeat customers). We will definitely be back next year!     A very enjoyable family stay in a great location. The hotel is positioned right beside a beautiful sandy cove with calm, clear water that is ideal for children. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained, while the grounds and pool areas were clean and pleasant.The standout feature is the beach access and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast offered a good selection, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.The highlights were kids playground, the beach and sea.     A long weekend in April, back in June

    A short walk( 20 mins ) to Protaras , lovely pool and right on a small bay. On arrival we were met with a refreshing drink by the porter George and the reception staff were very welcoming, George gave us lots of information about the hotel.The room was very bright and they have recently been refurbished with touch pad controls for lights, air conditioning etc.Breakfast was plentiful, we ate at the burger restaurant on the first night as the weather wasn’t good, the meal was good and the service was great. We only had drinks in the daytime as we like to go out on an evening. We really liked the hotels location and all the staff were amazing, we will be back in June for a second visit with family .     Wonderful Cypriot hospitality.

    A lovely resort hotel close to a sandy beach. With adequate sun beds and plwnty shade on site. Big pool and multiple food outlets. We stayed all inclusive and found the buffett had more than enough variety to not require eating in any of the other venues. The staff were all polite and friendly with a warm welcome. Supervision in a busy dining room was managed well by Christina and Christos and Comfort's smile and welcome aleays warm.The room was inland facing with a walk in shower and balcony, a very comfortable bed. A little noise from the road but not enough to disturb sleep. Would definitely return here again.
