Location

The hotel is situated right in the centre of tourist resort of Protaras, on the finest stretch of beach on the island of Cyprus, famous for its clear and safe blue waters. It is within a short walking distance from numerous shops, bars, cafés, restaurants and other attractions. Protaras is located on the south eastern coast of the island of Cyprus, 10 minutes' drive from the resort of Agia Napa.

Facility

282 non-smoking rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 4 lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service (for a fee), a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a page service and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds can be provided at no extra charge upon request. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Other features include a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge). Slippers are included. The bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are provided. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. 10 family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor (free) and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee). A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy on-site tennis. For a fee, cycling/mountain biking is also available. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes water aerobics and aquafit, with water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boating and snorkelling available for a fee. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, squash, yoga and aerobics. The hotel offers a range of facilities in the wellness area. Options include a sauna and, for an additional fee, a spa, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and anti-ageing treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch à la carte and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. For little guests, baby food is available on request. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. Non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages are available for an additional fee. There are international brands as well.

    Fabulous hotel , on the beach and next to the strip . The buffet for breakfast and evening meal has plenty of choice and good quality. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back. ❤️

    I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The facilities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the high level of service throughout my stay.     A great holiday with a huge disappointment

    We have visited Sunrise Beach on many occasions and it never fails to impress usually it is just the wife and myself but on this occasion we were accompanied by my stepdaughter and son in-law and 3 grandsons who were very impressed by the standards of the hotel On arrival as usual we were greeted at reception with a smile and a glass of fresh orange juice and check-in was delivered swiftly and very efficiently Our rooms are being to look a little tired and could do with a bit of a refurb in the near future,but having said that the beds and pillows are very comfortable We had a drink in the Othello bar and served by the wonderful Barnsley lass Justine who is a great asset to the hotel and has been for many years On to a great disappointment for us as we went for dinner in the Panorama restaurant to find that the wonderful Maria who had been there for nearly 20 years had been transferred to Marcellos for some obscure reason that we will never really understand We have to give top marks to Neo who runs the restaurant like a well oiled machine Overall another great holiday which was enjoyed by all the family We will see you all again in July 26

    I had an amazing friends trip here. I recommend the adult pool as it’s quiet. Yash, the bartender is the best bartender, nice , accommodating, and became our friend. The beds are amazingly comfortable and so are the pillows. The breakfast has a lot of variety. The water sports section has a lot of different things to do and very affordable. The sun beds are allocated, you have to pick them. Getting one on the beach is difficult. Excellent location too, can go to all the bars and restaurants walking. Also a grocery store across the street. Night life is fun. Highly recommended.

    This hotel has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Its location can’t be beaten it’s right on the beach and also central to bars and restaurants. The hotel staff are what make the holiday fantastic, we are returning visitors to the hotel and they make you feel so welcome everytime we come. The reception team remember you and make an effort to chat to you. Justine on the Othello bar is fantastic at her job, she looks after her customers so well and nothing is too much effort for her. My children adore this hotel and cry everytime we leave! We are already booked for next year.
