  Charming hotel in the heart of the city

  Charming little hotel located right in the city center. Spacious triple room, clean and comfortable. It offers a very good breakfast in a beautiful onsite restaurant. Only negative point was the lack of a head shower. Friendly staff. We totally recommend it.

  This location is great! The rooms are quaint and clean. We had nice private patio. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, and appreciated. If you have a car there is parking available though it is a short cobblestone street walk away.

  Horrible and unpleasant with absent staff

  We highly advise against staying at this hotel, especially during winter. Despite presenting themselves as a "family hotel, where they care about your stay," our experience contradicted this claim. Plus the parking is overpriced and the hotel is not exactly cheap either.Initially, we were happy with the hotel's location and appearance. However, the broken handle on the entrance door signaled a lack of maintenance. The absence of staff at the reception, with keys laid out in advance for multiple guests, was another sign no one would be there. Our room, though spacious and relatively modern in balance with the old character of the house, had a small bathroom with a dirty towel. Despite notifying the reception, we received no response.The heating was on the max level and it was a relatively warm day, so we turned it down. There was no information anywhere, that we should not do that. Upon adjusting the heating, it began vibrating and emitting humming noises, so we had to adjust it again. Suddenly, the heating started to make extremely loud noises, as if someone was banging it with a hammer so we were pretty startled. We turned it off again, but then there was the vibration and the other noise. Finally, we found some level where it was quiet and went to sleep.At one in the morning, we were woken up in shock by the loud banging noises again. We called the number provided to us, because there was no one at the reception, and arranged a new room. Despite moving to another room, and rather not touching the heating at all, the heating issues persisted, leading to a sleepless night. It was unbearable. So we went back to our room and had to get up every 20 minutes to adjust the heating so that it could be relatively quiet. We got zero sleep and were startled many times during the night.In the morning, there was finally someone at the reception, so we shared our frustration and the receptionist said she could not refund us because of "a Booking.com policy" and she offered to pay the city tax for us (about 40 CZK), that was preposterous and ridiculous.Breakfast was mediocre, and the room was noisy, cramped, and cluttered. Not equipped for a relaxing breakfast at all. The staff's lack of understanding of dietary requirements (we notified them about our dietary requirements in advance), evidenced by their handling of gluten-free options, added to our disappointment. Attempts to address our concerns with the reception proved futile, as staff were consistently absent.Despite numerous attempts to seek a refund, the hotel has ignored all our messages. We strongly advise avoiding this hotel altogether.

  Great place to stay in Cesky Krumlov

  Excellent service, spacious room, fantastic location, delicious breakfast. Check in was a breeze. Booked the “romantic room” and it was very spacious and unique. The breakfast was good and the location couldn’t be better in Cesky Krumlov.

  The staff is amaizing,the accommodation is great.The rooms had plenty of space and the bed was nice,clean and comfortable,the breakfast was great.We stayed one night and it was amaizing.The prices are affordable.
