Good hotel in Marianske Lazne for stay with children

We stayed in the hotel during our family trip. The hotel offers animation program for children - staff was friendly. The wellness facility is rather small and sauna shall be renovated. Food service is of average quality (variety and quality of food). For the stay with children we can recommend .

Spa hotel close to the musical fountain and the colonnade in Marianske Lazne

We spent two nights at the Zvon hotel in the quaint Czech spa town of Marianske Lazne. The hotel itself was located at the top of the town near to the famous musical fountain and to the colonnade, but is some way uphill from the train station. Fortunately the number 7 trolley bus takes you all the way. (They charged extra for luggage on the bus by the way.) The hotel had a feeling of recent renovation following a period of decline (like Marianske Lazne itself, I guess). Our room was large with a balcony but had sparse furnishings and was decorated in a dull brown colour. The breakfast was good with a wide choice, buffet style as is the norm nowadays. Our deal (booked directly with the hotel) was half board. We had a choice of a buffet supper at the hotel or a multi-course "a la carte" menu taken at the Palace Hotel next door (internally connected to our hotel). We chose the latter and it was definitely a good choice. The food and service were excellent. My partner used the spa facilities in the basement of the hotel, which included a small swimming pool and a swathe of modern treatment rooms, professionally run.One point for anglophone tourists. English is not so widely spoken in this part of Bohemia, so be prepared to try out those few words of German (or Czech?) you learned at school 😁

Very nice and comfortable hotel where we have been many times. We were never disaponted. We appreciate very tasty and rich breakfast consisting of many kind of fruits and vegetable, fresh smoothies and excellent coffee. On the dinner you can choose from four kind of meat toghether with vegetable salads filled with nice sweets.

We had a great experience at the hotel. It is located in great place just few steps from the main Park and Kolonade. Hotel room was very spacious with stylish furniture and really nice and clean. We were travelling with kids and they loved it there. The staff was very friendly, helpful and patient with us and our kids. I would deifinitely recommend this hotel. Thank you!!!
